That is an absolutely sublime finish from Aguero. And seems to be killing United off again. Can't really see United getting back another OG to get a point.

United are getting frustrated and losing their composure. If they are getting a goal back they will need to get their heads back on.

Why wait until the last ten mins to bring on Hernadez, then the last minute for Kagawa? Seriously Fergie, bad moves! 👎

Oh well, at least we have an easy run-in to hopefully secure the title.

A bit disappointed, but it only delays the inevitable i suppose, United need 10 points from the last 7 now..

...i heard the best chant this season from the United supporters, the City crowd were giving us gip about the 6-1 last season but we responded with

Keep singing 6-1
Keep singing 6-1
6 games in europe
and you didnt win one!!:lol:

He brought Kagawa on because Young took a knock and went off. I don't know why Kagawa doesn't get more game time though, I think given a run in the team he would be class.

I thought the game probably deserved a draw, both teams had plenty of chances but it was a moment of brilliance from Aguero that decided it. I'm not too disappointed because we didn't exactly play better than city and lose, it was fairly close overall and we still have that 12 point cushion.

When I'm sad, I sing that in my head. Also, "Kicking a blue" is a good one for when you're down  Anyway, what we need to do after that result is just concentrate on the next games because we only need 7 points from a possible 21 to win the league.

This was Phil Jone's reaction of the Aguero goal

Falcao to United?

Sounds interesting, but what we gonna do with 5 strikers?

Though its Marca who has the rumors, so gonna take this with a mountain of salt.

A week ago Falcaos manager was at the Bridge having heavy discussions with Roman. I'd say Falcao is going to be a blue next year. RVP, Rooney, Welbeck, and Hernandez is already overkill for United.

Hernandez has been linked with a move lately...he gets less game time than the other three...

...but theres no way we could sign Falcao, he has a 60 mill euro release clause in his contract and theres no way we coulkd afford that, only clubs like City, Chelsea and PSG could, if Hernandez does leave then we can replace him with Lewandowski, who we have been linked with heavily in the past....

Really Hernandez out? He reminds me of an Ole gunnar solskjaer type of player and he's not a bad finisher either. I see a Falcao - Torres swap on the cards for the summer, can't really seeing him going to united, maybe to city...but they've got enough firepower up front.

If there's one thing United don't need it's more strikers. Not unless the offload at least 2.

I doubt he'd move if they failed to make the top 4., which is a real possibility at this stage.

He might if his weekly wage packet is big enough, isn't that the players only motivation these days?

Even if Chelsea don't make the top 4 two years straight. It can be knocked down to one man. This one man that might finally be out of a Blue kit after this season. Fernando Torres. If Chelsea can get a striker to work with the midfield rather than expect the perfect delivery to his favourite angle every time, then Chelsea will lose a lot less since goals will be scored.

Chelsea will still be seen as a Top 4 BPL team. Otherwise the likes of Hazard, Mata, and Oscar would probably want to find a new club to move to. Which atm, they don't.

Back 2 pages of the Mirror are devoted to Falcao going to United...with Rooney making way!!

Great news that the Premier League WILL get goal-line technology in time for the start of next season!...all 20 club chairman have voted that Hawk-eye willl be supplying it and the first game to us it will be the Community Shield at Wembley...

Good to hear. Although, Chelsea generally benefits from not having the service lol.

On other news, hopefully United Play Kagawa this week. Personally, he deserves a starting position more than some of the midfielders they have at the moment.

I agree, I think he's a great talent and that given a good run he'll just get better and better.

Which is exactly the same as Alex said in multiple interviews yet he almost never starts him, I really don't get it lol.

Should be a good F.A. Cup game with Chelsea and City. Chelsea seem to be on some form but, City are coming off of a huge victory over United. I can't see Chelsea winning this fixture though.

So a weekend of league and cup games then, with two cup semifinals and the biigest game in the PL looks like Newcastle-Sunderland on sunday...

With a win for Liverpool against Reading and a loss for Everton against QPR would put Liverpool in 6th by goal difference. There's at least a chance for a Europa League spot, but seems like a Champions League position is nearly gone.

First half was boring but second half was full of action...wouldve been a great result for Norwich if Arsenal didnt come back to win :grumpy:

Cup semi between Millwall-Wigan on now...
