With a win for Liverpool against Reading and a loss for Everton against QPR would put Liverpool in 6th by goal difference. There's at least a chance for a Europa League spot, but seems like a Champions League position is nearly gone.

Yep! 0-0 rubbish result :(

Millwall 0-1 Wigan, approaching half time, Maloney scored for Wigan, who have rather predictably dominated thus far...

That's Reading's first point in 8 matches! Still doesn't take them off the bottom of the table though :indiff: Need to watch MotD tonight because FPL is telling me that McCarthy, Reading's keeper, made 12 significant saves!

If it wasn't for your username, I wouldn't have a clue who you were on about. :dopey:

and the sig :D

Question since The other FA CUp finalists will already go to europa does that mean wigan will play in the europa league next year?

Providing they are not in financial trouble, then they should be admitted into European competition next season.

Happy for Wigan for getting into FA Cup final/Europa League, they get stick for low attendances/followings, but when you consider their town population and 4 big/successful teams around them, taking 20,000 to Wembley is pretty respectable.

This will be huge for Wigan, especially if they can stay up for next season too. As long as they don't spend too much of the increased revenue because then they'll be depending of qualifying for Europe regularly, which won't happen.

Y'know Wigan have guaranteed themselves a place in the Europa League next season, if the winners of the cup have qualified for Europe through the league then the European place for the winner will go to the runner up...and i think Chelsea/City have qualified the league...

Didn't they change it? You now have to win the cups now to get a Europa place I think. If Chelsea or City win the cup and get in the Champions League, the league gets an extra Europa spot.

Actually it seems they may have only changed it for the league cup, who knows but if Chelsea don't qualify for the Champions League and win the cup they'll then take it.

Just woke up at 40 mins into Stoke - United, to see United lead 1-0. Oh well. :D

2-0, RvP goal on penalty! :P

So no-one has mentioned the Newcastle-Sunderland game with Paolo and his celebrations!

...seriously, it was a great win for them and it puts pressure on teams like Stoke...

United back on form to grab 3 points against Stoke. RvP ending his goal drought too with a well placed penalty kick. Oh and that Di Canio celebration reminded me of Jose Mourinho when his Porto side beat us in the UCL back in 2004 where he ran down the touchline.

...and now the cup semi between Chelsea and City, good day of football this! 👍

Anyone know why Pantilimon has started and not Hart?

I think Pantilimon has played every cup game in the run, so Mancini wants to stick with that....Swansea did the same thing with Tremmel during our League cup run...

...Nasri 0-1!

0-1 half time...great first half end to end stuff just like a basketball game! more please!

If Van Prick wins the league at the emirates it would be awful .
Talking about the second highest scorer in the EPL I guess? :D

Anyway, I think the league will be won at Old Trafford when we play Villa on Monday 22nd April (2 games time)
