Just been looking at the through this thread, some of the predictions at the start were brilliant!

TyrellRacing said it would be City winning the league with Chelsea 2nd and United 3rd!

...and i said that Sunderland and Villa would be fighting for the Europa league places!! :lol:

:embarrassed: My prediction that Swansea were dead-certs for relegation was wildly wrong.

Looking back the thing that's surprised me most is how highly regarded Redknapp was.

Bet is title race will be between Chelsea and City. United are now truly going into their transition phase so you'll see the drop off in performance for a year or so
Theres a clause in Di matteo's contract that says he wont be sacked after the first year..
I'd say City by a long way, then Chelsea, and a battle for 3rd between United and Spurs, which Man U win. Newcastle 5th and Arsenal 6th.
I knew that would be the case when I heard the denial.:sly: As for Di Matteo he deserves a chance but I can't help thinking he'll be gone within a year.:scared:
Some fun predictions from this earlier this year :lol: a lot of us were pretty wrong about a lot of things... and some of us were spot on 👍

Now, I would like to nominate the following for best post in this thread this year:
Yeah but, he [Juan Mata] never seems to do much. I don't know why Chelsea keeps him.
:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:
👍 Good call sir :cheers:

I had QPR, Reading and Wigan going down before the season, I don't think I posted that on these forums though. Next year I'll post a few things so no doubt some will end up wrong so you can laugh at them. :lol:

Breaking news that Man United assistant manager Mike Phelan has left the club, no real surprise now Fergie has gone, Moyes would want his own staff in...but Mike will be missed he was a former player at the club (bought by Sir Alex!), he went on to be a coach for the academy before becoming assistant manager after Carlos Queiroz left...he has been a terrific servant for the club!
