Brilliant, Hamilton back on top, McLaren back on form. Bring on the championship.

Man of the race: Hamilton, Perez and Grosjean.

Loser of the race: Alonso, Button, Schumi, and Vettel.

Alright, it's almost 4am here...imma sleep. Good morning.

Race recap:

1st: Lewis Hamilton: Disappointed not to be starting from pole, Lewis did an amazing job of preserving his tires in the first stint, leapfrogging Vettel in the pits and jumping Alonso on track after he pitted. Lewis' slow pace at the end of the second stint convinced RBR and Ferrari to gamble on a one-stopper. Yeah... right. Lewis overtakes both with authority in the last few laps. Well-deserved win... and he did it even while losing three or four seconds in the pits over two very slow stops.

2nd: Romain Grosjean... pitted earlier than every other one-stopper besides Alonso... finished second. Wha...? Amazing drive.

3rd: Sergio Perez: A one stopper from the nether regions of hell to third? Whoa. Even more amazing.

4th: Sebastian Vettel: Does well to salvage fourth from a disastrous strategy, but will not be happy at losing from pole, especially since his car seemed to have the pace all weekend long.

5th: Fernando Alonso: Despite his masterful tire preservation, that Ferrari doesn't have it in it to run fifty one laps on one set of tires... sorry.

6th: Nico Rosberg: Had a scrappy, scrappy race. Scrappy doo finally got some luck at the end, but he fell a tenth short of fifth place.

7th: Mark Webber: How was your race, mate? Lost three places? Really? Where? How?

8th: Kimi Raikkonen: Not bad considering where he started. Was almost leading at one point. No, really.

9th: Banzaaaaai, Kobayashi!

10th: Felipe Massa: When you gotta go pee, you gotta go pee. We forgive you for the extra pit stop, Felipe baby... we forgive you...

I dunno, I think Vettel ran a pretty good race in the beginning and end, he just pitted too late.

Alonso! Noooooooooo!

Oh yeah, McLaren finally makes it work for Hamilton.

Yup... kept him out way too long on the second stint to cover the one-stoppers... botched both pitstops to the tune of around two seconds each and kept pestering him to drive slower.

They really made it easy for him, didn't they... :D

Lets just see them work on thoughs pit stops

Whats confusing though is that McLaren do. The practise them most out of any team. However they STILL consistently mess them up.

Well, despite their best efforts to throw away yet another race, McLaren managed to win anyways.

Also, we very well could go 10 for 10.

So Lewis the 7th winner. :)

Perez showing his form again and Grosjean doing well.

Shame it means that under the tradition Lewis will crash next year. :(

So...best season of F1 ever?

Tires factor in for too much for my taste.

Compared to their regular performance, it was almost perfect.

So McLaren are now in the habit of trying to sabotage Hamilton? Well he sure showed them!

I didnt really like how easily Hamilton breezed past Alonso with the DRS though...Kudos to VEttel for passing Alonso without the aid of DRS. Im not sure if i like DRS anymore. I prefer neither Alonso or Hamilton so i was just waiting to see if they would hold each other up.

Same here. I think it's so lame. You have the fastest cars of motorsports...crawling not to destroy tires. Little sense much? 2004 was amazing, the speed of those cars was almost frightening.

Well hamilton is happy with the teams pitstops  and says that it was just the pulling away and possibly his fault.
