Gah, I wanted to watch Premier League football and all I got was two nobody Spanish Teams facing off in some lower league cup final. :sly:

I've been watching the Copa on a stream... far too much diving and play acting to be entertaining.... Suarez is a saint by comparison!

Just spotted Sunderland have gone 2-1 up against City... so off to watch that :D

Its 2-2 now! you guys jinked it!

Final Scores

Everton 2-3 Crystal Palace
Naismith (21) Puncheon (23)
Mirallas (86) Dann (49)
Jerome (73)

Man City 2-2 Sunderland
Fer'dinho (2) Wickham (73, 83)
Nasri (88)

Great point for Sunderland, Palace's great form continues!!

Well to be honest I wasn't expecting them to get anything tonight. They've done a big favour for us that's for sure. 👍

That's a great result :)

Bummed for Everton... would really like to see them get 4th.

Once upon a time.:(

Brilliant goal by Bale! wasn't a bad game, that's the first time Barcelona have lost three games in a row since February 2003!

Martino under so much pressure now...also did anyone see Pepe's perm?, he looked like an 80's Porn star!

At least they didn't drop the cup under the bus this year. Oh and a couple of interesting results in the BPL yesterday as well. Palace beating Everton means that there is still a glimmer of hope for 4th place for United and Sunderland grab a vital point in the fight for survival whilst killing City's title hopes. I want Chelsea to beat Liverpool next weekend as well because I really don't want Liverpool to win the title.

Palace are now safe as well after reaching 40 points...

...speaking of Palace, Cardiff have sent a five page letter to the FA asking them to overturn their defeat to Palace two weeks ago claiming they knew of the Cardiff team to play the match 24 hours before kickoff and that they cheated...this is a very interesting situation as I don't think its happened before!

I knew about the leaked info but as I recall Cardiff haven't taken inside action so why should the FA do something.

At the moment, safety is 42pt, though the combination of matches left may make it impossible for Palace to go down (if some of the six teams between them and Fulham play each other, for instance. A lot).

But the Cardiff situation may make their 40pt a bit precarious.

If they broadcast team news on Soccer Saturday three hours before kick off, what's the difference? With that information alone, you could tweak your team line-up prior to kick off.

The press get the team news about 45 minutes before kick-off usually...not three hours..

That's still enough time for last minute changes. Do Cardiff want teams to be anonymous before kick off?

Once the team sheets are in the only way the manager can make change is if one of the players picks up an injury in the warm up, apart from that they cant make any changes...

You can't change the selection no, but you can change team positions, formation and tactics.

Or if you are underhanded, you could fake an injury to change the selection.

I really don't see the problem. If Cardiff have a problem with leaks, that is a problem with their hiring process.

Oh the manager can do whatever he wants withy the formation..and tactics and things like that of course!

Like I said earlier, I think Cardiff did sack someone in relation to the incident...

And, if Palace didn't allegedly have advanced knowledge of the Cardiff team, do we think Palace would still have won? I do. Pulis has done an excellent job since taking over.

Manager Of The Year for me, no doubt at all.

It's between Pulis, Martinez and Rodgers for me. They've all taken their respective teams forward and are all on good winning streaks at the moment (before last night) as well.

I must have missed the sacking. Only check the news every couple of days on Sky Sports App as I find everything out from friends anyway.
