So Giggs has added Scholes and Butt to his backroom staff and Phil Neville is still there, that looks promising, I'm looking forward to see if that works 👍

Interesting developments regarding the sacking, the LMA have criticized the handling of it but United have released a statement denying it was done unprofessionally, they said the decision was taken on Monday night and he was told yesterday morning, no decision was made when the rumours started on Monday afternoon....

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has been charged with misconduct for his post-match comments following the Blues' 2-1 defeat by Sunderland on Saturday.

The club's midfielder Ramires has also been charged by the Football Association for violent conduct following an off-the-ball incident with Seb Larsson that was not seen by the match officials but caught on video.

And Chelsea's assistant manager Rui Faria has been charged with two counts of misconduct.

Quality stuff form the Chelsea boys.

Hopefully that's Ramirez, Cech and Terry out for Sunday's game.

And how many times has Mourinho been charged this season now?!....

You guys are just a bad as some of the ***** in Twitter!...

Just getting the last of the Moyes abuse in before you either pick it up again or get someone else bad and continue your downfall

They have still got quality players who can come in and replace the rested players.

I'm expecting a toughie this weekend against us, whoever they play the tactics are going to be same. Sit deep and try to get that odd goal, going to be a massive test for us to break them down. 👍

Here is the possible Chelsea team for Sunday according to todays Daily Mirror....Hilario, Kalas, Mikel, Christensen, Ake, Van Ginkel, Matic, Lampard, Salah, Schurrle, Ba...I admit that the defence would get taken apart but that attack can cause Liverpool's defence some damage and I think if Liverpool do make that flying start to the match that they have been accustomed to this season then it'll be a massacre but if its 0-0 after 20 minutes then I think Chelsea will have a chance....don't forget Liverpool can win the league this weekend...there's a sentence Id never thought Id say!

I don't think they can - if Liverpool beat Chelsea, they'll be on 83 pts, but Man City can still get 83 pts even if they lose to Crystal Palace this weekend. If Liverpool lose their two remaining games and Man City win their three remaining games, both teams would finish on 83 pts and Man City would likely win on goal difference. It's not a likely scenario though.

I'm pretty sure Liverpool can win it this weekend, I don't want them to of course but I'm just making trying to make a point, I'm sure Famine will tell us whether they can or not...

They can't - the best case scenario for Liverpool is that they go 9 points clear of Man City this weekend, but Man City still have three games left to play after this weekend, not two (like Liverpool). Even if Liverpool win and Man City lose this weekend, Liverpool will only win the league if a) they can score more than 83 pts or b) Man City drop a point in their last three games... see, no indigo required :P

TM's right, they can't mathematically secure it this weekend but realistically, they aren't going to lose their 2 remaining games after Chelsea and if they beat Chelsea, 1 point will be all that is required. (If City lose to Palace which has a good chance of happening.

I believe it's May 4th is the earliest we can win it now...

And guys, come on lets not fall for Mourinho's mind games on what team he is going to select this weekend. :sly:

Ramires will miss rest of the season after picking up four match ban for the Elbow against Sunderland, its three games ban and the extra game is because he was charged a few weeks ago for that nasty tackle in the Villa game, so its two charges in just a few weeks for Ramires!

Of course Liverpool also have to play Palace away - who would have thought that Palace would be King Makers this season...? Based on current form, they could give both teams a hard time, but somehow I think Liverpool will do it. I sincerely hope they do since one of my closest work colleagues is a die-hard Liverpool fan and will be insufferable if they blow it now. Come to think of it, he will be insufferable if they win the league too. Oh well.

Games this weekend..

Saturday
Fulham v Hull
Man United v Norwich (5.30 Sky)
Southampton v Everton (12.45 BT)
Stoke v Tottenham
Swansea v Aston Villa
West Brom v West Ham

Sunday
Crystal Palace v Man City (4.10 Sky)
Liverpool v Chelsea (2.05 Sky)
Sunderland v Cardiff (12.00 Sky)

Monday Night
Arsenal v Newcastle (8.00 Sky)

6 games on UK TV this weekend then. That's quite a lot. I guess I'll be watching all of them apart from the Arsenal game then.

There was six games last week as well with three on Sunday too...

We can take a huge step towards securing the title by beating Chelsea on Sunday... particularly as the pressure will flip on to City who play after us.

The dream scenario is we win the league against Palace next weekend, allowing the team and the fans to really enjoy the final game of the season against Newcastle at Anfield as a celebration of the season... I can only begin to imagine how loud the reception will be when the players walk out if it's already done and dusted.

However, reality suggests it will go down to the final game and it will be a nail biter

No matter how stressful it get's, it feels amazing to be in this position :D
