Cant wait for the United game, I know we have nothing to play for but after this week I think the atmosphere will be rocking and I'm looking forward to seeing what the new coaching staff have to offer, Giggs looked and sounded good at his first press conference earlier, thanking Moyes for giving him his first coaching role and he joked he has given himself a new five year deal!

Just hearing some very sad news that former Barcelona coach and manager Tito Vilanova has passed away with throat cancer at the age of just 45....RIP Tito :(

RIP Tito Vilanova. I knew he had throat cancer but I thought it was pretty much cured. Very sad day indeed. And at just 45 years old too. :(

Absolutely shocked and heartbroken...the man seemed like a true gent.

RIP Tito :(

Can't believe it... he was so young... My condolences to his family & all Barcelona fans, directives & players...

(not a Barca fan, but I have a heart too... )

20+ different managers in 10 years. But only about 5 different people.
Sydney like to style themselves as the Man. U of the A-League. And while they're a good team, they have been upstaged by Western Sydney, who have only existed for two years, and in that time have made their way to two Grand Finals and into the knockout round of the Asian Champions' League. A lot of Sydney FC fans seem to think that Western Sydney are enjoying the kind of success that Sydney FC should have. Naturally, their response is to sack their manager and throw money at problems. They don't seem to realise that Western Sydney's success comes from the way Tony Popovic built the team around his philosophy. It's very much an eastern suburbs attitude.

That's because he has benched Mata for his first game!, interesting team he has picked, Cleverly starts, no Fellaini in the squad....

...1-0 to United at half time through Rooney's penalty, United have largely dominated and had two shots on target but it has been sparkling...but we have the lead so cant complain...

If Moyes dropped Cleverly for Mata then he would've been sacked on the spot!!

Exactly. Manchester United has always, and will always be about them 5 yard side passes. Who better than the future sir Tom Cleverly.

That reception that Giggs got was brilliant though!

What a strike by Rooney, beautiful curler!

Good performance and a promising start....also Sir Alex was sitting next and chatting to Sasha Breeze, who is the agent of Marcos Rues and Toni Kroos...

...Very happy with the Swansea win, on 39 points and very very close to safety :):D

Have a good night people 👍

That was the best atmosphere at Old Trafford I've heard for a long time. When I heard Viva Ronaldo it was so loud. Even my mum who doesn't know the chant words picked out what they were saying! Seeing Paul Scholes, Nicky Butt, Phil Neville and Ryan Giggs in the dugout was an incredible sight.

Having them as a team in control of us against teams like Norwich works brilliantly. I don't know how they'd fair against the big teams though. But people like Giggs and Scholes you couldn't ask for more experienced inexperienced managers. You'll not find another manager who's never coached before with better experience.

Watched the Man U game last night.

Same turgid rubbish as they played under Moyes in the 1st half, with a useful improvement after the 1st (lucky) goal, but Norwich were a shadow of the team that we played last weekend!

However, the same problems are there and won't disappear just because the 'Class of '92' are in charge for a few games... central midfield is garbage. Carrick & Cleverly aren't anywhere near the standard you'd expect of a top class Premier League side.

Having said that, Kagawa and Mata looked useful. Surprised me Januzaj didn't get a game.

On to today... another BIG game for the 'Pool... any sort of win will do!!

Edit...

Miraculously, Sunderland look like they might just have put themselves close to safety! Cardiff, Norwich and Fulham now the bottom 3.

Frustrating game... Chelsea have played like Westham!

Need to get Sturridge on.

Well now. Doesn't that make for an interesting league table..?
