So after last week announcing that he is to play for Belgium, Adnan Januzaj has been named in their 27 man preliminary squad for the World Cup..

...the reason I bring this up is I'm wondering when the World cup thread will start (and who is doing one)...I know this season hasn't finished yet but I cant bloody wait for it!!

Well at least we are going into the World Cup with low expectations, we may be pleasantly surprised. The past few WCs the team has been hyped up and expected to do great things and failed miserably.

I think he will... as you rightly point out, everyone makes mistakes - but Gerrard's mistake (if you can call it that) was something that could have happened to anyone - nothing like get sent off for a reckless challenge, or duffing a penalty. Gerrard's contribution to Liverpool outweighs missing out on the league title if you ask me.

Well tomorrow should be the day that City slip up again and hand the title back to Liverpool. Being a City fan for over 10 years so I know how 'typical' City will lose a game they should win.

As for the world cup, I don't care. The sooner England are out, the better.
