Slightly late, but too funny not to post...

Football this weekend...

Saturday
Aston Villa v Hull
Everton v Man City (5.30 Sky)
Man United v Sunderland
Newcastle v Cardiff
Stoke v Fulham
Swansea v Southampton
West Ham v Tottenham (12.45 BT)

Sunday
Arsenal v West Brom (1.30 Sky)
Chelsea v Norwich (4.00 Sky)

Monday Night
Crystal Palace v Liverpool (8.00 Sky)

Some big games at both ends of the table, I think Villa v Hull Massive for Lambert who is under a lot of pressure, Everton beating City would effectively hand Liverpool the title if they beat Palace but Martinez says he is not bothered about that as they are still fighting for fourth..

..its also the last day of the normal Championship season tomorrow before the playoffs start, the last playoff place and the last relegation place is still to be decided, all the games kick-off at 12.15...

Good we play tomorrow I can actually watch a game for once without it just being on MOTD.

Well we might be without our two first choice strikers, Rooney is doubtful as he has a minor groin strain and has been suffering with Flu and RVP will have a fitness test ahead of the match...plus Sunderland have been terrific last few games so tomorrow game wont be easy!

Hoping for my local team Reading to get back up to the EPL this season. They've got a tough game against Burnley though and Brighton (the other team that could get play offs) are away to Notts Forest. Blackburn can also get in as well mathematically but their goal difference makes it pretty much impossible.

Special mention to Hamilton Accies. Their goal inferior goal difference meant that it was unlikely that they could overhaul Dundee for promotion to the Scottish Prem.

But I'll tell you what, they've given it a damn good go! They spanked Morton 10-2 to be within distance of beating Dundee, but Dundee held on to beat Dumbarton 2-1. Had it been a 2-2 draw, Hamilton would have completed the greatest comeback by winning the division on goals scored.

Ifs, buts and maybes.

I'm disappointed with that...but Sunderland winning did help Cardiff go down, and I am a Swansea fan as well so I'm disappointed but not pissed off....

...Massive game coming up, Everton-Man City!, looks like an interesting formation Martinez has gone for..

What a goal by Barkley!!!!

Full Time score from Silverware Cabinet Att: 22

Trophies Won By David Moyes 1-0 Trophies Won By Jose Mourinho

1-2 to Man City at half time, is it me or do Everton not look interested?...

Everytime I watch Man Utd we lose..... Maybe I'll just declare myself a Liverpool fan for the remainder of the season and hope my bad luck gets to them.

Hehehehe!^

So Fulham and Cardiff are down and if Norwich lose away to Chelsea tomorrow, which they are likely to do, then they will be relegated as well...

One good thing that came from today is City winning which now means that if both City and Liverpool win both of their remaining games, Liverpool have to get a minimum goal difference of +11 over the tow games to win the title. I can't believe I'm saying this but I want City to score as many as possible.

If you don't mind me saying Famine, that seemed a little bit out of character for you. Sounds like something an angry Man United fan with one brain cell might say on Twitter.

Anyway, that's the league done with. Runners up will be a fantastic achievement if we can secure that, but it should've been something more...

Couldn't agree more, very disrespectful from him.

Not over yet Alex, however we are in that position where we need Man City to slip up again. 👍

Haha, looks like the Giggs dynasty lasted all of one match.

Who would have thunk it, Man Utd's poor performances are due to a core group of players who lack spirit, not all down to Moyes.

It's psychologically easier for me if I tell myself it is over

Similar to how I was resigned to Spurs not getting Champions League since February. 👍

Gah, why do I have to be on the other side of the world?

Sure, I have the Brisbane vs. Western Sydney A-League Grand Final in half an hour, but the quality of European football makes our teams look like the local Under-9's derby ..

I don't have a dog in the fight. Thus I enjoy seeing as much fight as possible from the dogs. Besides, it's difficult to know who to hate more for the various reasons. I even hate Everton for '66.
From the current top 10, I hate Liverpool, Everton, Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs, Southampton, Newcastle (more than you can imagine), Palace and West Ham. Stoke not so much (though I can't stand the place itself).

Don't be upset because I say hate your club in one post. I hate all the others too.
