So Arsenal beat West Brom earlier 1-0 in a fairly dull affair, Chelsea-Norwich on now with a win for Chelsea sending them top and effectively relegating Norwich...

@Famine, are there any football teams you actually like?!...apart from Sheff Wednesday....

Well as a Welshman I always want the other Welsh team in the leagues to do well, Newport and Wrexham, but not Cardiff!!

that's Chelsea probably out of the title race!

All went downhill for Mourinho and Chelsea ever since he made them comments about West Ham tactics.

Big match tonight for us, win we eliminate Chelsea from title race, which will be one less team to worry about on the final day. Anything less than a win tonight, then I will officially count us out of winning the title.

I hate to say it but I think Liverpool are already out of it... I can't see Man City failing to win either of their last two games, and I reckon they will probably win them both by big margins. Failing to get a draw against Chelsea is likely to have cost Liverpool the title, but failure to win tonight will mean that it is virtually certain they have blown it.

Yep, quite simply it's done and dusted unless we beat Palace something like 6-0 tonight and then destroy Newcastle on the final day. City will not slip up this time.

Its a tough game tonight for them as well, Palace are a good team and will be no pushover, its definitely a banana skin for sure!

Speaking of bannana skins, what a weekend in La Liga! Real nearly putting Barca in the driving seat with only 2 minutes to go, to then have Ronaldo score an absolute breezer, securing a point. Something tells me, there's another slip to come in this title race...

Yeah looks like La Liga will go to the final day aswell. Atletico Madrid had a shock loss yesterday, I believe they got Barca to play on the last day of the season aswell. Any three of them can win the title, will be interesting to see who wins it. 👍

Whoa... squeaky bum time for Liverpool...

10 mins left, and 2 goals in 2 minutes for CP... 2-3 now :nervous:

You wouldn't believe it...

3-3.. :(

3 goals in 9 minutes for Crystal Palace...

edit:

Game over - in more ways than one.

That's what you call a comeback! That puts the title well and truly in City's hands

My god. That is horrible for Liverpool, Crystal Palace are unreal.

It was quite incredible reaction from some of the players after the final whistle, amazing how upsetting going top of the league can be . All they need is a loss from Man City and they win their remaining game so not all doom and gloom.

It may have been an awful season for Man Utd but I love seeing Liverpool fall short. Suarez crying was the cherry on the cake.

2nd is still overachieving for LFC, it will be downhill from here unless they recruit heavily.

I hope you don't think Arsenal are capable of finishing second next season if things stay the same.

Kind of a leap of logic from sems previous point.

Anyway, largely because I consider Suarez a dirty grub, it gives me pleasure to see them sadfaced.

On the news tonight, I was waiting on the newsreader to say "Match Of The Day is on after the news, and so if you do not wish to know tonight's football results, you may wish to look away now. And Liverpool supporters, you may not want to watch Match Of The Day either."

Pathetic and unacceptable from our players tonight. Carragher was spot on after the match, conceding sloppy goals would come back and haunt us eventually, and it did tonight. As the season went on, I thought we would tighten up at the back, but it just hasn't happened, continuation of letting in sloppy goals.

This one hurts more than the Chelsea one to be honest, three goals up and end up getting a point, but it sure as hell feels like a loss, absolute kick in the nuts. Winning the title is over after tonight, miracle needed and it won't happen, and plus don't feel we deserve to win it after tonights performance.

Heck I'm not even in tears, just pure frustration to say the least, we need to get better defensively as a team if we ever going to win the league, plain and simple.

Onto the weekend against Newcastle, every Liverpool fan deserves a good send off, so the players have to pick up themselves from this disappointment, and I expect a reaction from the players.

If things stay the same, I know Arsenal can win it with better management.
I'm an Arsenal fan of 20+ years and I dont think so :P.

We need - a premier striker, 2 new defenders and good defensive midfield cover for Flamini.

And some luck on the injury front. Having Ramsay, Podolski, Walcott and Ozil out at the same time was the sucks.

Arsenal need more squad debth in the positions of CB, CDM and striker.

They could also do with Ozil being in good form.

That was absolutely soul-destroying. Say what you like about Suarez but he's mostly cleaned up his act and he's undeniably a nice bloke off the field. To see Gerrard, who must've been feeling worse than anyone, have to go and pick him up absolutely broke my heart. Gutted.
