I kind of hope they resist all bids and develop their squad more. They will sell Osvaldo(pretty much guaranteed) and I'd say Gaston Ramirez will leave them too, them two players leaving will generate significant funds to push on. I want to see what a promising team could do without selling all their players.Liverpool have made a bid for Lallana, I'm not sure how much for though.
Southampton are probably going to rake in the money this summer.

But take Lallana for example, how could he resist the move to Liverpool considering the season they have just had? If they have indeed made a bid.
But then the possibility of him playing alongside Gerrard and Sterling, combined with Sturridge and Suarez is mouthwatering.
Why?Rodgers, Pellegrini and Martinez should all have won manager of the season in front of Tony Pulis.
If we would have won the league, Rodgers would have deserved it. In my opinion, Pellegrini doesn't deserve it because he inherited a title winning squad, and finished where he was expected to. Martinez did very well with Everton, but didn't really achieve all that much in the end.Rodgers, Pellegrini and Martinez should all have won manager of the season in front of Tony Pulis.
Sydney FC have confirmed that they won't be lobbying for Rio Ferdinand. Which is odd, because their usual way of doing things is to a) throw all of the money at a problem until it fixes itself, then b) fire whoever this year's manager is when it doesn't work, before c) rinse, lather and repeat. Having lost del Piero and lacking star power in their line-up, Ferdinand is right up their alley.

Sydney get some success - they're one of the biggest teams in the A-League - but I think they simply don't realise that the best teams are more than the sum of their parts. The Western Sydney Wanderers is made up of players who might not be the League's best player in their individual positions, but they were selected to fit Tony Popovic's philosophy, and as a result, they work incredibly well together. But Sydney FC put the cart before the horse, buying up the best players and then drafting a manager in to turn raw talent into results.Sounds like most clubs in England to me. In the premiership the three relegated teams all spent big money on a striker who scored basically no goals, some didn't even really play any games, they all had multiple managers and no doubt will still do the same next year in an attempt to get promoted.
This is because the owners of football clubs these days are the guys who have more money than they know what to do with so they buy a football club and expect instant success and more often than not they don't have a clue how to run a football club.
Tim Sherwood gets the sack despite the fact he had the highest win percentage of any Spurs boss in the Premier League with 59%....I think Levy might regret that!
Well Spurs are apparently so confident of landing Pochettino that they're already looking for his replacement.
Pochettino.Who would you like to be your manager ?

Pochettino.
Didn't like Sherwood after seeing how little he is willing to change the line-up.
And Bentaleb-Siggurdsson CM partnership in a 4-4-2 wouldn't work against Fulham, never mind Liverpool.
No.Spurs: Benitez
Yeah, but he jumped out of a dressing room window and ran off before anyone could find out exactly what poison.Ferdinand to leave United. Good, he's been poison this year.
He was linked with the United job somewhat, don't make me bring up Cleverly and Fellaini....Ancelotti at 20/1?!?!?!
