I think he should of been picked for England last season.

Yep, especially in a friendly or two. There isn't much point to them if you don't try an odd new player or two, which also makes me wonder why Hart is playing in them all.

I knew we were in trouble when Lambert came on as my mate denounced his selection on Facebook a few days ago - and he knows bugger all about football. Lambert is a quality player indeed. Shame he didn't have a Scottish grandmother.

The top scoring English EPL striker always deserves a place in the international team, no matter how wide or narrow his reputation.

Richard Lambert was always a fantastic striker in the lower leagues and fully deserves the plaudits heading his way.

Didn't bother watching the match last night. England have been 🤬 since I was born.

As for the Premier League, I cannot see United winning it this season. I reckon it'll be a battle between City, Chelsea and maybe Arsenal.

Spurs and Liverpool battling for 5th again like last season.

For me personally, progression out of the Champions League group stage, top 4 finish and a good cup run, possibly winning one would be good for me as a City fan. :sly:

MUSC4EVER
This 100%! I want them to go into administration as well to make it even harder for them...and for the Swans to beat them 4-0 in the two South Wales derbies!

There's a team who play in Wales, have a red kit, call themselves the Dragons and have significantly less debt than Cardiff. But noooooo....

Big money and investment goes down south once again. 🤬 the M4 corridor.

But Swansea don't have a Sugar daddy though Liquid, we are just a very well run club and still 20% fan owned...the only club in the premier league to have any percentage owned by the fans...

..and im also very happy for Rickie Lambert as he thoroughly deserves it, it was a great header and its a great story!

I've spent most of today thinking about football!

About 18 hours to go....

I can't decide if I'm going to wake up at 7:30 AM to watch Liverpool/Stoke, but as long as I get NBC Extra Time (it looks like I do), I plan on watching Sunderland/Fulham tomorrow. I want to see how Jozy fares.

Suarez is back training with the first team after apologising...

I'll be up watching Liverpool/Stoke tomorrow at 4:45 A.M.:ill: Hopefully I'll be watching Cou and Mignolet rack up some major points for my fantasy team.

Liverpools chance to actually top the table for a little whilst this season.

Huth off the bar! Got him in my dream team too :sly:

Sturridge scores.... But it's offside!

Really looking forward to finally watch Premier League again! :P

Getting off work 30 mins before Swansea - United. Good timing. :D

Szczesny very lucky to still be on the pitch. If they weren't the home team 20 min into a new season it would've been red for sure...

Altidore could be getting better service, he's positioning himself well.

The commentators are going gaga over Sessegnon when Adam Johnson has clearly been better in possession as well.

While I have not seen it I can believe it, happens all the time to almost every team. We don't have many refs who'll send someone off in the first half an hour of a game, especially at the start of the season.

Of course the FA and the Premier league won't have this, just like they don't fix the fixtures every year. :embarrassed:

Football is a soap or a drama as much as it is a sport these days.

Celustka almost just had a goal of the year candidate, blazing half volley from 30 yards that was barely touched out of the very top corner by Stekelenburg.

Flipped over to the Arsenal game, looks like I picked the wrong one to watch! That yellow should've been for Oxlade-Chamberlain, not the Villa fullback.

Goal to Fulham, Kasami from Duff's corner. Bummer.

The referee in the Arsenal game is having a bit if a shocker if I'm honest. Several...interesting...calls so far...

Not really, there was another player to follow up so it wasn't a denied opportunity.

I thought it was 50 50.

This game has been a bit of a joke from what i've seen. Arsenal have been kicked all over the place. Kocielny made a great tackle in the box but got booked and a penalty was given. I haven't seen his second yellow but he should still be on the pitch.

The Arsenal game sounds really exciting, hopefully I get to see a few more goals from United/Swansea.

Sunderland have removed a defender and added a striker.

They missed their chance, Dong-Won put an easy header wide.

Hopefully this game will end in time for me to watch some highlights.

I'm surprised that Altidore is having trouble beating the Fulham center backs in the air.
