Really?!?...well that definitely sounds like him!!

That was the original story but now West Brom say he suffered a bereavement and left with their permission so who knows what the exact truth is.

So Spurs are 2-0 up at half time away to Tbilisi in their Europa league quaily first leg, Townsend and a debut goal by Paulinho with the goals...Swansea are on later..

Spurs now 3-0, Soldado with the goal....

...0-4..

Willian move may have been hijacked by Chelsea. If this happens I will laugh for days. Serves Spurs right, from a Liverpool fan.

 I really hope that's true! Our talks with him apparently broke down because his agent wanted another £5 million for himself on top of the £28-30 million fee.

Because Liverpool fans seem to be under the impression that Tottenham just steal their targets.

From what I've seen all over the internet, they also seem to be oblivious to the fact that AVB has been linked to Willian for years and that he almost joined in January.

Edit: Can't help but laugh at this comment on a Sky Sports article about Bale.

Bale if u go and Ronald's stays you two may get into fights over free kicks. Also u can easily end ur career there as it is dangerous with barca there they could brake ur legs. I am a spurs supporter and I am saying that u should stay plz.

I'm back from my holiday. Bit late but I saw the result of the Swansea and Wigan games and all I can say is what a start for Moyes and RvP is still going strong, 4 goals in 2 games :)

Anelkas Manager (I believe) passed away. That is why he walked out for the time being.

Willian hasn't impressed too much in Russia so, I'm surprised that he is a target. Although his performances for Shakhtar Donetsk were sublime.

I'd rather see Chelsea purchased someone like Luke Shaw to replace Ashley Cole since he's maybe only got a year or two left at this high of a level. Luke Shaw has been playing really well since the beginning of 2013 and started off this season with a Clean Sheet and Assist. He is Englands future LB for sure and will definitely become a legend.

As for strikers. Lukaku needs to be given a start and more time on the pitch to learn to become more effective. Demba Ba and Torres do nothing so, having a young player learn and try to do things is no different than to what those two do on the pitch.

*Edit*

Just did a complete redesign of my Fantasy Premier League Team. After a really disappointing first weekend, I'm going for a bold move and making a lot of transfers. Since I'm not in the GTP league, I'm just going to post a picture of what I have set up now.

New additions this week are;
- Benteke
- Aguero
- Oscar
- Yaya Tore
- Paulinho
- Whittaker

Because spurs have signed Willian, Dempsey and Siggurdson after we had basically agreed deals with them or been reported to be the front runner in the race for their signature. As they are our direct competitor and lucked in to having a player worth 90mil (to Madrid at least) in their team, they now are much better than us. Therefore, I hate them. :D

Mate, Everton are your direct competitors...

Oh, and you bet us to the signing of Jordan Henderson.:sly:

They wanted to join the better team, that's not Tottenham's fault :sly:

I think Chelsea probably will get Willian at any rate, they are in the champions league, have Mourinho as a manager, have the better team and will be title contenders. I don't think Spurs are quite there yet, especially if they lose Bale. If Chelsea do sign Willian I certainly won't hate them for it.

Any predictions for United v Chelsea on Monday? I think it will be a very equal game but also very competitive as both managers have something to prove. I think maybe a red card or 2 as well. As a United fan though, I have to go with a 2-1 United victory. On a side note, I wonder if Rooney will play considering the interest from Chelsea.

Chelsea really doesn't need Willian. We already have 5 fantastic attacking midfielders that can also play as wingers. Moses is a good backup for when one of them gets injured as well. What's the point of spending the money on him. I'd rather them spend money on a Striker.

I'm going to go with a 4-1 victory to Man U on Monday. I don't think that Chelsea has the Clinical striker, like RVP, to get goals against such a solid team. I think it will be a fantastic game to watch though.

I have to say, I do think United will win on Monday, but not 4-1. Maybe 1-0 or 2-1.

A win is both possible and doable, but not easy.

Welcome back Ross 👍:)

Im going for either a draw or a United win Monday night, I completely agree with Kamui in that Chelsea lack a world class striker..

Also an interesting game for me is Cardiff-Man City considering I hate both!...

Well, I Suppose I probably would like a Cardiff win as it means a shock defeat for City...I SUPPOSE!

Cheers :) I've read through all of the posts while I was away and a few interesting conversations going on.

In the Cardiff v City game, I will be hoping for a Cardiff win as I despise Man City.

Well you've got him  Apparently the lure of Champions League football took him to Chelsea rather than Spurs, which is fair enough I suppose.

Champions league or no champions league he ain't going to be playing in it because chelsea have too many players in that position as mentioned in your quote there.

Interesting day in the League, Hull picked up their first win beating Norwich 1-0 despite having Sagbo sent off, Arsenal responde to losing to Villa last week by beating Fulham 1-3 away from home, Stoke beat Palace 2-1 and there were draws between Newcastle-West Ham, Everton-WBA and Southampton-Sunderland.....Villa-Liverpool just kicked off..

Indeed it was! fantastic start to his Liverpool career, Liverpool looking good at the break..

Great win for us today at the cottage ,pleased for the fans.

also first team to win 100 london derbies

Two wins and two goals for Liverpool then...and the same goalscorer!

Villa looked good in the second half though and I think they will do much better than last season.
