Two games today are Spurs-Swansea and Cardiff-Man City, both are kicking off in about 10 mins...

0-0 at half time, City dominating possession but are breaking on the counter really well and had a good chance through Campbell at the end of the half..Spurs-Swansea is also 0-0

As a United fan im happy because City lost...

....but as a Swansea fan im sad because Cardiff won and Swansea lost 1-0.. :indiff:

Just goes to show, Fergie time doesn't work with everyone. Yay, City lost, they gave up earlier than last season, bring on the retention.

Frazier will now be bought by City for 20mill, lol joke. They like wasting money like that.

The fact that Liverpool missed out on the Europa League might actually help next season. A less busy fixture list will be an advantage.

Still though

Seeing as you were laughing at us, not looking too bad so far pal it it? :sly:

We're only two games in but you're absolutely right.
Liverpool look solid at the moment.

We'll come 5th in my opinion, so don't get worried just yet. :D

As good as Liverpool have been they've only won 1-0 twice, against Stoke and Villa and they are not exactly top half teams, even if Villa have also been a bit better this year. Still they've won and that's all that matters really, a good start is always a good start.

We didn't create too many chances against Villa and Begovic was impossible to get through. We had something like 25(11) shots that game, but the keeper was magnificent.

I'm in Manchester right now. Sitting in the hotel situated right outside the ground.

Since one half of Manchester clearly can't be taken seriously after losing to a second-game team, there's no way United can lose against Chelsea. They'll send them back to West London crying, and me back home a happy man.

Tonight will see the Chelsea title talk end.

True true, the acid test will be this upcoming weekend to see if we can keep the good form going. ;)

Loved the fact that £51 million pound defence couldn't stop a £650k former United trainee from scoring twice yesterday!

Anyway, looking forward to a good game tonight, Im hoping for 2-1 win with Rooney starting and getting the first goal....but that said ill be happy with a point...

I'm going to stick my neck out and say 'No, we wont.' Chelsea will win the league regardless of tonight's result.

United:

De Gea - Jones, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra - Valencia, Carrick, Cleverly, Welbeck - Rooney - Robin van Persie.

So, 3 strikers and an offensive lineup.

Chelsea:

Cech - Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Cole - Ramires, Lampard - De Bruyne, Oscar, Hazard - Schurrle

Quite offensive lineup from Chelsea aswell.

Hoping for a great match, and for United to win it in the end. ;)

I'm still dumbfounded by this post. Yes, if Man United win, Chelsea will only have the other 93% of the season left to claw that back

Good match, but dissapointed by the result. United were far better and should have won it.

But a good match overall.

Great to see Rooney work like that (as the rest of the team).

Fantastic efforts by Rooney throughout the match. Especially that time when he tracked back, won the ball and then made a decent pass. Bit disappointed by the result though but a point's a point.

What? That's one of the most boring matches I've ever seen.

From an Arsenal fans point of view maybe but it was edgy stuff at times. Sure the first half wasn't exactly great though.

Any match will be edgy when your team is involved (in particular with such significance riding on it),but from a neutral it was crap.

Fair point,is this the end for Mata at Chelsea?
I don't know, but it is the end for Mata at Atletico Turismo VII :grumpy: #wrongthread

If anyone has a spare 2 minutes, highlights of the game are now available on the BBC Sport website.
