Erm actually Pellegrini has neither confirmed or denied that he would start, my bad!

But still I would drop him, Pantilimon played well against Newcastle and deserves to keep his place IMO

The wind at the Stoke Sunderland match is ridiculous, you can see the ball moving all over the place and that Begovic freak goal, looks impossible to defend, long balls forward will be effective today I'd say.

Begovic goal???????

How the smeg did that happen?

Just woke up, and saw Newcastle beat Chelsea 2-0, City 4-0 against Norwich at half time, United 3-0 against Fulham at half time, and that Begovic goal! :sly:

Meanwhile at Hillsborough, a much larger "what is this I don't even" than Begovic's goal... Wednesday get their first win of any kind this season... 5-2 against Reading?!

@Famine , Do you have Matty Fryatt permanently or on loan, he always seems to get a few goals, especially at this level.

A day packed full of goals! loved it!, another win for United but we had a poor 2nd half and we are still in 8th

A big game up next Arsenal v Liverpool where we will find out if either one are title contenders or early season pretenders!

Seven different scorers for Man City today... that has to be a rare occurence in the EPL?

Nice goal from Cazorla for Arsenal - hit the post with a header but followed it up and finished it nicely... does that count as a goal and an assist??

Half time then, Liverpool started the better but Arsenal largely dominated, big team talk needed by Rodgers!

Big win for the Arsenal, great finish by Ramsey and there are now 5 points clear...

It's surprising how signing one player has made such a massive difference to Arsenal and he didn't even play. Flamini.

This is probably the biggest reason for Arsenal fans to be happy with this result. He was hugely missed in the last two defeats, but today Arteta stepped up - ok, Liverpool aren't the same quality of opposition as Chelsea or Dortmund, but it's a start.

I'm chuffed to bits with the Arsenal result last night, and I'll be the first to admit that I didn't think we had it in us to get three points. I Missed the first half due to work, but made it back in time for the second and thought we looked very solid at the back and moved the ball quickly on the counter.
5 points clear so we now have a little breathing space. Let's just hope that we use that positively, rather than relaxing and getting complacent.

The biggest match in Welsh football history up next, C'MON SWANSEA!!!!

Your midfield completely destroyed ours. We couldn't string more than a few passes together before we were swarmed and dispossessed.

0-0 at half time then we started well but Cardiff come in to it as the 1st half went on..

That has got to be the worst Swans performance in a long time, absolute crap!, Not happy!!
