Good win for City. They're finally beginning to regain their momentum. I nervously await their visit to Anfield though.

What a day in the Premier League... Top 4 sides score 17 goals between them, but unfortunately, one of the top 4 let in 6 of them

Feel a bit sorry for Arse fans... was hoping you'd hold the Chavs to a draw today. Letting in 6 must be a really painful experience.

Can't wait to watch MOTD tonight, but will be enjoying the Liverpool game on Football 1st... 3-6 with yet another hat trick for the best player in the Prem.

0-2 to United its finished then, bit of a dull second half but Rooney's first was epic!

Have a good night people :)

Fantastic result against Cardiff today, had me on the edge of the seat again though, with the sloppy goals we conceded. But knew with our attacking prowess, once we got a foothold in the game we would come out on top. :)

Onto our game in hand against Sunderland at home on Wednesday, got to keep on plugging away and keep notching up solid wins. 👍

Waiting for MOTD to start :D

(I also have the full game on SKY+)

Roll on Sunderland... though a 2-0 would be fine there!

Mourinho's post-match interview...

"So, are Chelsea title favorites now?"
"No. Obviously not"

Rogers refuses to aknowledge Liverpools title chances too. Will anyone say they hav a change of winning the league? Ask pelligrini and he'll probably say that they're 6 points off. Arsene Wenger probably didn't see the league. Moyes thinks he's got a good chance of doing the double of League and ECL.

So many goals!! Insane goals from Toure, Rooney and Tettey. Goal of the month is going to be a nightmare.

Should have seen the end of Solskjaer's post match interview...

'So do you think Liverpool are genuine title contenders?'
'Couldn't care less'
*walks away*

I saw that on Vine. I was in tears laughing and couldn't stop watching it :D

40 goals scored so far this weekend in the prem with one half of football still to be played!

Make that 41 goals!

So that's 42 goals this weekend!

Don't forget the El Clasico is on at 8pm...

Slightly off topic, but what a game - 2-1 after 24 mins and an amazing Di Maria/Benzema combined effort - Benzema just had another shot cleared off the line - a hat-trick in 25 mins against Barca would surely have been some sort of record!!

I don't think you have to worry @Touring Mars , the thread also specifies general football discussion!

An amazing game so far, Barcelona need to calm down!

Messi evens it!

Is the Camera man drunk, I hate those irritating camera angles.
I'm watching the game on Sky Go - what with the constantly changing image resolution and 'buffering' (which seems to happen whenever the ball gets into the box), I haven't noticed the camera work!!. The cynic in me believes that they are making Sky Go rubbish on purpose so that people like me (who only have Sky Go) sign up for the full service.

2-2 now - excellent game 👍

I'd rather endure the buffering than sit through needless camera changes, so wanna trade? :P

Ronaldo scores a Penalty and it's 3-2 Real!

Messi scores a Penalty and it's 3-3!

Messi scores a Penalty and it's 4-3 Barca!

See some people saying ref was terrible, both the Ronaldo and Neymar penalties were almost impossible to see right.

Harsh on Real but la liga now wide open.

Whilst I believe Joey Barton is a grade 1 ass, you cannot deny the epicness of this burn. Harsh, rude, yet a little funny at same time.

You know, a lot of people hate on Joey for 3% of what he says. The other 97% is the complete truth but, he is the only one to have the balls to say something about it. I respect him a lot for that.

Wow just wow. What a weekend of football. 42 goals in the EPL and then to top it all off, a 7 goal thriller in El Classico! And Manchester United won! Next it's the Manchester derby where we can really dent City's title hopes.

Please take 3 points from City! :)

That was easily the best weekend of football this season!, 42 goals (49 if you include the El Clasico), some cracking goals as well, the game last night was great but its a shame the ref had to play centre stage

Billy Davies was sacked as Forest boss earlier after they got battered by Derby 5-0 on Saturday..

Arsenal win appeal for Gibbs and red card correctly transferred to Chamberlain...
