Hopped on for an hour tonight and driving like crap so I'm just gonna let it be tonight. I can't stay away from it lol. Luckily I've got tomorrow off if I need to put in a better time (currently 24th). These last couple days have had some fast laps put in by people I haven't seen before since the start. Guess we'll see where we all end up tomorrow. And Hill, I'd let you borrow a 17.7 if I could. I know you can race well and would be fun to see you at finals! Get on it man!

Times are gonna stabilize after tonight though, a lot of people are gonna be up burning themselves out only to be useless tomorrow.

I am hitting .6s pretty consistently now. Always messing up somewhere. I can see the 16 second area, just can't seem to put it all together. Realistically a 17.1-2 would make me happy enough. Unless I find more time on my way there ;). Although, I might toss in the towel early and go play vball in the morning.

Fun to see your times pop up on my screen. You are the only U.S. player competing that is a friend of my GTP_RedReevos account. Think that was probably from back in the day when your PS3 crapped out, and we were trying to re-stock your garage. :dopey:
 
Good luck to everyone at the top who are eligible to the national finals! 👍 I decided to throw in the towel since I did a lot of hot laps and it shows I need more practice with the first sector on Silverstone. But at least I did some good times though.

Just finished the US show, and will start the UK show in a bit, just before I take one last shot at making the cutoff.
Listening to these shows helps me with motivation. 👍
 
I am standing at 87 in the US. I watched Tidgney's vids but I am still not quite there yet. Can you guys please give me some advice? I feel I can make the time but I think my head isn't in the right place!! Give me any piece of advice you got on mental or physical aspects =D
 
Wow alot of duplicate accounts being made now, 4 extra by let Canada in and because of that he now pushed me back 5 spots as I was sitting 40th wtf wow I wonder how many other duplicates are being made under the radar

well... hopefully it's no one who's actually eligible.
There is a rule about duplicate entries, and it says they can DQ all of them if they want. So if you put 4 fast times on the board to discourage people from trying more, they reserve the right to punt you completely rather than just taking your fastest account.

oh, and on that using dupe accounts to fill the boards is probably the worst way to go about getting someone to change the game-show rules in Canada.
When they're each individual people it's cheeky. Dupe accounts from the same person is spam; and no one likes spam.

Lol that's exactly what it was :P The second I ran that .6 on thursday I stopped running laps lol. It was a horrible maggots, beckets, chapel so there's def more time there, but the times good enough to make the cut, and that's all that's needed :) My friends list is way too stacked lol, I think being in the top 10 on my friends list would put you in the top 31 lol.
 
Unless a flock of aliens show up, I've run my last Q laps. My 17.605 was not a magic lap, but if that keeps me in the Top 31, it was good enough.

I took a short stint but had 38 disease in s1 so I'll watch the F1 race and then take one last crack at it later today. But without the Canadians and Teenagers I'm still under the limbo bar so I'm not going to grind all day.
 
There are 4 let_canada_in now in top 20. same driver?

Looks like if they allow past racecamp finalists, cutoff is going to be ~37, currently 2:17.770
But if they don't allow them, cutoff goes all the way to ~45. which is currently a 2:17.921

Thats a big difference.

I don't think its the same driver for every Let Canada In. Under 5 more hours to go and I need to get under under 5 seconds.
 
If cutoff ended up .9xx I would actually qualify without running a lap in a week. Oh weel hopefully will be academy next year.

I encourage you to blast this (or whatever you'd like to get hyped on) song as soon as deadline hits, loud as possible, pop bottles baby ("soda" if you're under 21) you're going to ****ing Nationals!



Congratulations to all PURE members that poured their heart and soul into the competition this year, thanks for the support and camaraderie, that's that extra bit we all needed to get pushed over the edge and on to Silverstone, you guys all blew me away, live it up!

btw, has anyone fired up a sub-account and ran a 5m lap to see what the bottom # is for the USA?
 
After not being able to clear my previous 16.655 for 4 days I think it's been but many laps damn near close to that time, I finally ran a 17.536 which is good for 12th. Thank god! Lol. I think I'm done for the day unless everyone gets stupid fast. Good luck to the rest of you still working on it! There's plenty of time to go!
 
So for those of you trying to figure out where you stand, I got confirmation that one Let_Candada_In, did in fact do 3 different accounts in the top 31. He said sorry. So maybe that helps, 7 minutes to go.
 
Finished 8th this year excluding the Let_Canada_Ins. Not a bad improvement after finishing 160th or something last year! :lol: Good luck at the finals guys. I sure wish I was old enough. :(
