Edin Dzeko just tweeted:
Losing 4-0 to a League One team... I mean, really?

Someone's getting the boot in the morning. Probably Lewis Hamilton.

In all seriousness;

A franchise beating another club's B team live on Sky. Greg Dyke et al must be loving it.

In other Premier League casualty news, Shrewsbury knocked out Leicester City (1-0), Sheffield United knocked out West Ham (5-4 on penalties AET, 1-1 after 90) and Sheffield Wednesday knocked out Burnley (1-0).

Hilarious news to wake up to, Di Maria it is not too late!

As some British comedian said (can't recall who), "it's like when Ferguson retired, he took all the power cables with him and left 8% of battery life".

I didn't watch the match, just saw the result on the BBC homepage, I wonder how long Van Gaal will stay if Man U keep up this sort of form.
Yeah, better with Hamilton. Rosberg is quite poor on the wing.
Don't bring it to this thread.

I'm trying to think of clever things to say but I can't even come up with any. This is hilarious.

I have to admit I laughed and then I realised plenty of so called fans have probably done just that.

As for yesterday's debacle, I don't think I've ever watched a team defend so badly and I've seen San Marino play plenty of times. The players look utterly clueless trying to play three at the back, why the LCB and RCB think they are full backs I'll never know, one centre back isn't going to work against anyone. The number of basic errors was shocking too. You'd have also thought the back up players would be trying to impress and yet a lot looked like they couldn't care less. As for the only first choice player playing, De Gea, he shouldn't have bothered to turn up, a lamppost in the goal would have been more useful than him.

I turned over after the second goal but I did catch the rest on Soccer Special, we have hit a new low, that was just embarrassing, we have Burnley on Saturday and that could be a loss because they would've seen that last night and will be well up for it...and we could have Di Maria Rooney Mata RV;P and Rojo all playing and can still be crap because we are still getting used to the formation....which I now have serious doubts about...

Capital one cup draw in a bit, Orient and Burton have both knocked out PL opposition in Villa and QPR..

Third Round Draw...

Chelsea v Bolton
Arsenal v Southampton
West Brom v Hull
Crystal Palace v Newcastle
Leyton Orient v Sheffield United
Cardiff v Bournemouth
Sunderland v Stoke
Derby v Reading
Liverpool v Middlesbrough
MK Dons v Bradford
Man City v Sheffield Wednesday
Burton v Brighton
Swansea v Everton
Shrewsbury v Norwich
Fulham v Doncaster
Tottenham v Nottingham Forest

Very interesting draw there, a lot better than the second round draw!

Ah man, Giroud out for the season with a broken tibia :grumpy:.

Well, with qualification to the CL now, Wenger needs to sign another striker before next week.

Arsenal really need another striker, even if its one on loan because if Sanchez gets injured as well then they have to rely on Sanogo!

Why can't Podolski or Walcott play as the main striker? They both score their fair share of goals from less advanced positions and have played up front before, I'd rather rely on one of those 2 than Welbeck.

Palace sign Wilfried Zaha on season loan from Man United...

...Also the England squad and new captain was announced earlier, I posted it on the Euro 2016 Quali thread because I thought it was right place to put it....check it out if you don't know...
