De Gea is our best players right now and the only reason why we haven't conceded loads more goals than we should have so its a massive blow yes but I don't think he will miss 4 weeks, I mean 4 weeks for a dislocated pinky finger? C'mon!

I've broke my finger and carried on playing in goal, of course I'm not a professional and probably did myself more damage. Yes it hurts but people get injections in their toes and carry on. I think 2 weeks. Maybe miss 1 tops 2 games after the break and then be back.

So some good news and some bad news on the injury front for United, as i expected four weeks for a dislocated pinky finger is ridiculous and there is now speculation that De Gea could be fit for the Arsenal game on Saturday

The bad news is that Daley Blind went off injured during the Holland-Latvia game and and has suspected torn knee ligaments and could be out for up to a month, Blind has been very consistent for United so far and i don't he has had a bad game yet

This International break has been really bad for United, with Carrick pulling out of the England squad, De Gea and now Blind!...

There was Van Gaal thinking the extra week could be good to get a couple of people closer to a return and we lose 3 more. Our most consistant player, someone who literally only just got back from a lengthy spell on the sidelines and our best holding player.

Man United injuries....De Gea, Rafael, Evans, Jones, Rojo; Blind, Lingard, Young, Carrick, Falcao....one player short of a full team!

In other United news, financial results for the third quarter were released earlier and Revenue has dropped almost 10% probably because of no Champions League this year and that drop could have been worse if it weren't for increase in Sponsorship money and a small decrease in the weekly wage bill..

Guys please relax he will be playing against Arsenal along with Di Maria hopefully. Falcao also should be a sub this game. And Valdes isn't taking his place. Wait till the press conference on Friday if your still unsure. i hate the press they like to make something not so bad but twist the story up and make it worse and people believe it and buy into the rubbish.

Jones, Evans and Falcao could play on Saturday, there is an 80% chance for De Gea according to certain media, Carrick is out but Shaw and Di Maria might be ok, I don't think its as bad as people are making out

Bad new for Liverpool about Sturridge, he suffered another setback (his second) in training for his return to action, he hobbled off yesterday and Liverpool really need him right now, he has been out since the end of August..

I had a feeling they were going to go back on that, I don't think many people expected that reaction when they let him train again...

So at Van Gaal press conference earlier he said that De Gea and Di Maria have been passed fit for Saturday (👍:D), Shaw is doubtful but Carrick is fit, but Blind could be out for more then 6 months and Falcao is out for another 2 weeks :indiff:

So Premier League football is finally back after a looooooonnnnnnnggg international break, here are this weekends games..

Saturday
Arsenal v Man United (5.30 Sky)
Chelsea v West Brom
Everton v West Ham
Leicester v Sunderland
Man City v Swansea
Newcastle v QPR
Stoke v Burnley

Sunday
Crystal Palace v Liverpool (1.30 Sky)
Hull v Tottenham (4.00 Sky)

Monday night
Aston Villa v Southampton (8.00 Sky)

No early kick-off tomorrow, which means no BT game this weekend..

Yes Welbeck might not be able to play against us. Good news ADM and De gea will be fit. I'll finally be able to watch the games since I got Foxtel :D. But will be taping them and watching at a reasonable time not 4:30am lol. I feel we can win this game but anything can happen.

Arsenal...Szczesny, Chambers, Mertesacker, Monreal, Gibbs, Arteta, Ramsey, Ox-Chamberlain, Wilshire, Sanchez, Welbeck

United...De Gea, Smalling, McNair, Blackett, Shaw, Carrick, Di Maria, Fellaini, Valencia, Rooney, Van Persie

Mata, Herrera and Januzaj on bench for United, we are not going to do well with that defence!!

Todays results mean whoever wins will be in the top four....

C'MON UNITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

0-0 at half time, Arsenal all over us and we have De Gea to thank once again otherwise it would've been 3-0, we got in to it as the half wore on though and Wilshire should've been sent off, Shaw off injured..

United 1-0 Gibbs own goal!!!! :D:D:D:D

Rooney!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 0-2!!!!

1-2 the final score! Giroud with late consolation, first away win for LVG and in to top 4!!

Glory Glory Man United :)

Still a bitter taste that Di Maria missed the "open" goal to make it 3, but the win was just amazingly satisfying...

I was at the Emirates today.
Solid win. The thing what won it for us was the counter attacks.
Everything else in the game was mediocre, apart from de Gea. The defence was better but still hesitant and they were helped by a lack of Arsenal attack.
Also Mike Dean was terrible. Gave Arsenal almost too many fouls. Didn't spot Wilshere headbutt Fellaini. And added on 80 minutes at the end rather than 8.
I'll stop short of saying this is a turning point because everything this season has been incomprehensible. So there's no point.
I mean, Newcastle are 5th! (Still level on points with us!) Pardew out?!

EDIT: He didn't miss it.

Unbelievable.

Liverpool just lost 3-1 away to Palace after Lambert put them ahead in the first 2 minutes, Pool are down to 12th now...

They have a massive game in the Champions League away to Ludogorets on Wednesday as well..

RIP John Neal, 1932-2014.

The greatest manager in Wrexham AFC's history. Including scalps over Zurich and Djurgårdens in the Cup Winners Cup, and even reaching the quarter finals in 1976, John Neal took Wrexham from the doldrums of Division Four and bled a new generation of young, local players such as Mickey Thomas and Joey Jones. Working tirelessly on and off the training ground, he laid the foundations for our eventual 1979 promotion to Division Two.

A four year spell at Middlesborough beckoned before he invigorated Chelsea during the bankrupt early Ken Bates years, dragging the club from the jaws of Division Three back into Division One with signings such as Kerry Dixon and Pat Nevin as well as signing three players he helped nurture at Wrexham; Joey Jones, Mickey Thomas and Eddie Niedzwiecki.

He was 82. Just thought I'd share.

If Liverpool keep losing they could be in relegation zone in January. They are playing like relegation candidates they need to pick up or they will suffer.

Spurs win, actually looked somewhat decent going forward.

Still not great though, only won because of a dubious red card.

Aston Villa 1-1 Southampton

Agbonlahor strike cancelled out by Clyne's equaliser with 10 mins to play, Southampton seemed a little off, this means Chelsea are now six points clear..

Good hopefully Southampton start to drop in form so when United play we have a chance of winning
