Plato now 5th with no ballast. Let's see what he can do about the Honda's.
He was out of his grid slot. The silly penalty for Forster. I didnt see him creep...
His wheels were half a mile out of placeThe silly penalty for Forster. I didnt see him creep...
A what's just a stunt? :SD'ooooooooooooh !!!! .... Hear Matt Neal talk up the wagon civic. ? i think its just a stunt.
It's marketing - he's having a joke - get over it.Oh, just the whole "Oh look it's a wagon and its fast, go and buy one now/ You'll go fast to the shops" thing.
I just dont see the whole oh i cant believe a wagon is in the btcc thing.
i think its a bit silly

V8s are banned from racing in Europe, it's part if the fia clause so they can call the series international.Personally, I think the V8s would be moderately successful in the UK. To be honest, I think it would be more successful than these wasted ventures to USA or The middle east.
Also - As i'm not a regular watcher of BTCC due to my location etc. What has changed regarding the track limits. ?
No UK track would really be suited to V8's, apart from Silverstone.
MSA (british governing body) made it an offense put two wheels over white lines / kerbing I believe.
This can be summed up as "ruining it".
I could see no reason for V8 Supercars visiting those tracks.Apart from Brands Hatch GP, Donington Park, Oulton Park and Thuxton you mean?
The only issue in the past was 4 wheels off the track. 2 wheels off is something no spectators, drivers or officials have had a problem with. However, in order to further enforce the rule, they decided to tighten it up far too much, therefore ruining it. Everything'd be fine if they just decided to bother enforcing the original rule in the first place. This rule is necessary due to the existence of run off tarmac. The drivers are supposed to drive ON THE TRACK. Get used to, because will be happening everywhere else as well sooner rather than later.

In that I meant that those tracks are not high profile enough on an international level, if V8's were ever allowed to run outside Australia.I'm pointing out that there are.
Then why the hell do kerbs exist? Nobody has ever had an issue with it, it's about people exploiting it and pushing beyond. You are still totally wrong. The track is the tarmac between the white painted lines. This rule is because of run off tarmac. Get used to it.

You can be as stubborn as you want and quote the same thing as many times as you like, but it doesn't change what I meant. You can change your mind about what you said as much as you like mate.

Erm they do? They run in New Zealand, North America, Tasmania, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain. In that I meant that those tracks are not high profile enough on an international level, if V8's were ever allowed to run outside Australia.
Again, me being lazy... I was referring to the Europe thing you were talking about above.Erm they do? They run in New Zealand, North America, Tasmania, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain.
It's just Europe they are banned from.
And not popular on an International level ok then. Back under the troll bridge.
