Great day. Great weather, good racing, very enjoyable indeed. Massive thanks to @Roo for picking me and my brother up from the station, enjoyed the motor sport/GTP banter.

Great day, good people, good racing.

Yesterday evening I watched the races of this sunday. Man oh man what a party! Great touringcar racing and what an atmosphere. Looking forward to the rest of this "epic season in progress" :D

BTCC highlights today at 4pm on ITV4 for anyone who missed the races last weekend (or of course for people like me who aren't prepared to sit in front of the TV for 8 hours ).

It's the best thing in the world. Do it.

Screw sitting in front of the TV, go to the track at sit there for 8 hours two days in a row!

I will do in August, but then sitting and watching it live is worthwhile, sitting in front of a screen all day, not so much.

Yes it is... it's the best thing in the world.

I should be heading out to Rockingham in September but apart from that no plans yet to go to any others.

If that's the case why was the original civic estate called an Aerodeck?

Also the Honda Accord Tourer in more recent times, which is based on a saloon.

Tourer just used to be a word to describe 4 seat open top sports cars, now its meaning has changed somewhat.

Plato on pole.

Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

I'm about as anti-Plato as they come.
And so is the whole family.

Turks will probably get boxed in off the start, but I very much envisage a smashy on Plato from Flash :D

Anti someone who provides spectacular racing entertainment?
Anti-incessant whinging and unnecessary dirty driving. He's a likable person out of the racing world, but when he puts his helmet on, he becomes unbearable. And he can't take what he gives out.

We've always been anti-Plato though, and I can't see it changing.

Jason's been fairly clean recently as far as I can tell.
Still moans. And none of us can put their finger on it, but there's something about him which says he's not involved in the team as much as others... he sort of goes off home and then wanders to the track expecting a nice shiny car to drive around.
