Thank god he is gone.

Everyone was fed with his acting.

Sort yourself out, he has a broken vertebra :irked:

Personally gutted about Neymar. So many people are desperate for him to fail, to not live up to the hype. He’s 22 years old and carried a nation on his shoulders. I just don’t see how that commands the immense disrespect he receives all the time. People throw rocks at things that shine.

Serves that little piece of 🤬 right for faking all the time.

Still, I hope that, if Argentina doesn't win the World Cup, Brazil wins it. Nothing would be sweeter than seeing all the country pissed off about it.
Brazil x Argentina would be epic!

I definitely DO NOT want to win the World Cup against Brazil. I'd rather win it against Germany. Truth be told, I really dislike the attitude the country has towards Brazil, especially since that stupid-ass song became known throughout the world.

But yeah, it would be epic.

He launch himself to the ground and did that on it's own.

That's what he gets for being such a drama queen, not that I'm pleased but he did it on it's own, so I don't need to sort anything.

Erm, did you miss the knee straight into his back?

I actually did, after so many times forcing fouls one starts to ignore what comes as a foul and what doesn't.

Edit: Yeah, totally missed that, sorry for missing how he got that foul (among the gazillion times he threw himself to the field).

It's not disrespect, it's being honest. You can be an amazing player (Neymar, Cristiano, Messi) and still be disrespected (Neymar, Cristiano) because you do things that, well, don't command respect, like diving and acting like a dick (no wonder Cristiano is disliked even more than Neymar, seeing he does both at the same time).

You can't expect people to respect players just because they are good with the ball. If the guy's a diver, he's a diver, and that doesn't sit well with some people.

Brazil and Argentina are big rivals, so people always make jokes and stuff.
But in reality, I believe both teams have a huge respect to each other :)

It's true... I just don't like people hating on each other's country just because of tradition, instead of having actual reasons to do it. Just like Argentina and England over the Falklands, I actually wanted England to do well in the World Cup.

Fair enough. I assumed he was acting when they only had the standard wide shot and he was on the floor, but that knee to the back was pretty brutal in the replay. Then the physios literally dumped him on the stretcher and ran along the pitch with him in it. :ouch:

That's what I was thinking, this guy has a back injury serious enough to need to be stretchered off near the end of an important game for his country and they think right lets jog and shake the absolute 🤬 out of him.

Hell yea Messi Vs. Neymar

The Jabulani was a disaster and the Vuvuzelas made the players nuts

Speaking of which, wheres is Caxirola now? Its not really popular isnt it. See, most people want the "most" for sports, not "as rules said". Even in here Vuvuzela from 2010 WC is still used for cheering.

I don't understand why they don't stretch the Quarter Finals over 4 days. I'm missing both games tomorrow because of work, and then I'll have nothing to watch on Sunday/Monday.👎

Poor Neymar. If the game had an actual ref, none of that would've happened.

Agreed.

You can dislike him as much as you want because of his diving/complaining to the ref, but he's an amazing talent. Absolutely disgusting that some are actually happy about him suffering a nasty injury like this.

I don't know, if this has been posted yet.

The doctor said that if Zuniga would've hit Neymar only an inch higher, he could've potentially paralysed him.

FIFA to investigate Zuniga over Neymar injury

Argentina-Belgium is going to be close!

I'm not sure if it will be close. Either we can be as good as against the USA at which point we should be able to win this match, or we cannot stop Messi and Di Maria and we'll get slaughtered.

Impossible. Neymar is out with a broken vertebrae, see the post above.
Should have said David Luis but anyway.

Not to be rude, but i heard that Brazil has a quite dirty tactics on faking the injury. So when i heard Neynar's injury on another message board, they responded with a bunch of "haha Brazil/Neymar wants publicity" Meme Pitcures.

If this is real than i hope Neymar is ok and can go play the semifinals.

He is out of the tournament....he cant play with a fractured vertebrae....a lot of Media saying he is out...

Why are they reading fair play statements now? Shouldnt each team have done that the start of the tournament?

Two players on Yellows for Argentina, Garay and Di Maria, four players on Yellows for Belgium, Alderwiereld, Kompany, Witsel and Vertonghen...

Nice finish by Higuain! 1-0!

Zuniga, two agressions in the same match. 👎
Hulk is lucky because he is quite strong, any other player could have a broken knee after that.
