Belgium's game has been underwhelming from the start of this World Cup. Their results have reflected the young talent the team possess, but not enough to be semi-final material in the end.
I also feel as though Origi would have been better utilised as an impact sub in the last two matches. Starting him didn't work out for them too well today, or in the US game.
It was so bad that virtually everyone forgot it happened.

They were very good against the USA, and that was a great game, but they haven't lived up to the hype... that said, last 8 is a good result for them, and they will be close to favourites for Euro 2016 with that squad, so long as they can start playing like a team.
Argentina were disappointing as well, but I think they will reach the final now, provided Di Maria is not out.

Last 8 was probably what the blind media corps thought Belgium would get, but they way they played, in a different draw they would have gone out in the group stages.
You just can't get by with only scoring in the last 20 minutes of a game.
Now for Netherlands-Costa Rica. Though football logic seems to finally have taken its place in this tournament (the 3 expected teams have gone through), I'm still saying it could go either way, because World Cup 2014.

Netherlands were too slow to start. The back 5 just passed it between each other.
Some good chances for them, but you need more than that to beat Keylor Navas.
I knew he'd be able to make a name for himself at this WC. He was supreme at Levante in La Liga this year.
