2:16.543 and 10th in Belgium-Luxembourg. Probably not going to spend much time on trying to qualify for the finals like the last years. Definitely lacking patience & enthusiasm this time + so much other fun stuff to do :)
Good luck to all those to achieve their goals đź‘Ť

EDIT: Is there anyway to turn these god damn lines off.. I want to see ONLY the ghost!

@Holty

In the DS3, its the up button...

2.18.189 good for a 34th in canada. I don't have much time to try it (vacation etc) so I'm happy with this time. I think i might have another .5 or 1 sec more if I'm lucky.

Dont know if the leaderboard is still being updated on this thread, but I managed a 2:16.9XX. Will look up full correct time in a bit.

Is it just me or is this year a lot less competitive (so far) than previous years? I put in one lap yesterday, which is currently 2.7 seconds off top UK pace, but am only just outside the top 100 UK times.

I appreciate it's early, but in previous years I'd expect to be much further down than that so far with that sort of time. I really don't see people with as much urgency to get involved as with previous years.

I think it's because you must have the game to play gt academy while in previous versions it was a free software on the ps store.

I agree about the cones actually disqualifying you and booting you from the track. It's annoying and kills your momentum...BUT.. I can see why it has to be that way. They need to reset the track so that the cones will be repositioned where they should be, or else on your next time around, the cones will remain scattered. There are no track marshals or track hands, lol.
They should just get rid of the cones all together, they are completely useless. Just penalize people who have 3 or more wheels off the track.

Sat a 2:18.067 after 1h of practice, 236th on spain atm. I'm wasting lots of time on the first corner and the bus stop, probably I could be around 1.5s faster if I were able to nail these 2 corners. But yeah, pretty satisfied as of today considering I'm not investing too much time.

Some tips,please,2:22.957

The difference between taking Eau Rouge well and taking Eau Rouge badly can be as much as 1.5 seconds, so practicing there is a good call, if you're using automatic transmission only brake enough to go down to high revs in fifth gear.

Wait until the weekend ;)

Not sure if I liked because of avatar or because of inspiring message to competitors

It has to be mentioned that it's nice to have something easy on the eyes on this thread. Also good practise on how not to get distracted by 'brand ambassadors' during the territory final so that you can focus on the job at hand :embarrassed:

Managed a reasonably solid run to set a 2:15.464, 11th in UK and 75th worldwide. I lost a tenth in the Bus Stop chicane compared to my previous lap, which itself was far from perfect.

I reckon the UK cut-off will be a 2:14.9xx or 2:15.0xx, so I have to shave off half a second yet. How hard can it be?

Does anyone know the highest time with a DS3? It seems having a wheel is worth a lot more in this round than other rounds. Just want to see how much more.

I managed a 2:20.3xx but I've only actually done three full laps and I doubt I'd easily be able to do it again
