I ran two hours with SNAIL spec enduro and the pit selection menu is flaky. Twice it did what it wanted. I thought the new version was to remain up and do nothing until you made your selection even to the point of letting you sit there until you did. Once it "flashed" by and once it refused to take an entry and gave me hards and 90l when I wanted softs and 10l. Also I understand that will have the last pit unless someone else is in. It is very hard to do inputs if you have the first pits.

Hm never heard of it refusing to take inputs. I do know there is a problem when it pops up when you're feathering the throttle in to the pits (like at la sarthe), as it takes the throttle as the x button. For that you'll have to remember where it pops up and keep off the throttle there.

As for having one of the first pit boxes I don't really know what to do about that.. Will just have to be really fast I guess.

OK, Lotus Club GT can confirm 3 of its 4 drivers for this event. I hope to have the final driver confirmed this week.

@ J Danials PSN name you have on here is not working. But sent PR's to the rest.

So after running a few laps with all the cars, here are the best laps I could get out of each car, some are tuned and some are not, but all have minimal aero.

Corvette (aero min): 3.39.874
McLaren (tuned): 3.34.010
R8(aero min): 3.28.790
908(aero min): 3.27.885
Lotus (tuned): 3.59.562
deltawing (tuned): 3.44.156
Sls (tuned): 3.43.941
Supra (aero min): 3.35.421
GTR (aero min): 3.37.391

In my opinion I think that GT cars should reduce the power to maybe reduce the hp by 15% because there should be no way a GT car should be within 10 seconds to LMP cars.

We'll have to see when the BoP table comes, he's been talking about reducing power for all so we'll just have to see. :)

Shouldn't for LMP's though as the Peugeot ran a 3:11 in 2010 and I am only bringing to the table 3:29's

Maybe you're not a good enough driver ;) (just kidding, don't hurt me).

Would have been cool if every class just got a time to spec their cars after. :P Like, your best driver should do 3:11 in the lmp class.. or something like that. But I guess a lot of trust goes in to that so that would never work here where no one knows each other. :P

I will run you off then track:lol::lol:

That seems about right for us too. Personally I don't mind the power similarity that much, just think of them as just a lower class rather than GTs, but either way, it would be nice to know to what spec we should actually be running.

18/6 Event Update

1 - Weather

Well I was proved right on the point that when it rains, it really rains at Le Mans! However I think something less stressful would be more fun.

Again @Seven a huge thank you, great work. Based on the data I would like to put forward the following settings;

Weather at Race Start = 0%-20%
Weather Changeability = 2-3

2 - Driving Standards

Expectations of driving standards will be laid out in the Driver Briefing. This will include inter and intra class passing guidelines.

3 - Track Limits

Any further thoughts on this? Having closely examined lines over the weekend, the suggested track limits are perhaps a bit lax, but then again we are not worrying about preserving the cars.

4 - Testing Lobbies

These will now be ‘Friends Only’ so please make sure you have added everyone.

5 - Balance of Performance

BoP will be announced on Sunday. Any new entries after this time will only be able to chose pre BoPed cars from a shortlist.

@Player 1 The track limits are a little lax if I say so myself (I'm actually struggling to force myself to cut some of the corners that much). Perhaps you could use the same 'two wheels within the white lines' rules that seems the norm?

I agree, but having said that, the MSA is now enforcing four wheels within the white lines curbs.

Todays physics update may help us here.

Both works, you just have to chose one and make that clear. :) I agree that the old borders were a bit too lenient. Never been driving that much over the borders despite cutting quite a lot.

Edit: The MSA does seem a bit hard though.. feels like the kind of borders racing drivers never follow completely. :P
