So after running a few laps with all the cars, here are the best laps I could get out of each car, some are tuned and some are not, but all have minimal aero.

Corvette (aero min): 3.39.874
McLaren (tuned): 3.34.010
R8(aero min): 3.28.790
908(aero min): 3.27.885
Lotus (tuned): 3.59.562
deltawing (tuned): 3.44.156
Sls (tuned): 3.43.941
Supra (aero min): 3.35.421
GTR (aero min): 3.37.391

In my opinion I think that GT cars should reduce the power to maybe reduce the hp by 15% because there should be no way a GT car should be within 10 seconds to LMP cars.

Im in agreement here. My team are running the Lotus, and in LMGT class, the time is round about what the GT's were setting at Lemans this weekend. If the BoP could be tweaked so that others in the class can replicate similar times, not necessarily the same, it would be good. However the SLS we are up against is over 15 seconds quicker.

I think they have got it down to 7 second difference now in the BoP and pretty close to what the GTEs were running at Le Mans (I think fastest in quali was 3:53 something?). Don't know how much tyre wear will do but since the lotus is about half the weight, probably a lot. Hard to balance with that difference in mind though.

I've read in the rules that the maximum number of teams allowed is 15, I'm counting 12... Could I join the race with my team or is the race already full?

Of course you may enter. LM GT is currently the only class open. The following cars are available;

Audi R8 LMS ultra
BMW M3 GT2
BMW Z4 GT3
Nissan GT-R GT3
Subaru BRZ GT300

Great to hear that.

Team Name: Ares Racing Team
Team Manager: MartiV8
Team Type: Local
Driver 1: MartiV8
Driver 2: GV27
Driver 3: -
Driver 4: -
First Choice Car: Delta Wing*
Version/Colour/Number: 2012 Le Mans edition, number 27
Second Choice Car: Subaru BRZ GT300**
Version/Colour/Number: number 27

*Although we consider it to be highly impossible, we would like to know if it could be possible to open a 'Box56' so we could race with the Delta Wing in an independent class. If that is not possible, we will race with our second choice car.

** We are interested in using the Subaru BRZ GT300 as our second choice car, but we would like to know the details of the BoP so we can train properly for the race.

Thanks!

The DeltaWing is being used in the LMP1 class.

22/6 Event Update

1 - Entry List Updates

- Class names changed

- There are currently 3 entries pending conformation, once these are confirmed we will be full.

- New reserve teams should prepare to enter any of the three classes.

2 - Driver Stint Schedule

- Team Managers should submit their Driver Stint Schedule via the Team Manager Briefing chat.

- Only one Network Team will be allowed to change a driver within a 10 minute window.

- Driver Change Windows will be allocated in order of submission.

- Local Teams should also submit a Driver Stint Schedule, but naturally this will only be used as a guide for the Media Team.

3 - Garage Allocation

- To minimise moving garages during the race, Local Teams will occupy the garages nearest pit out.

- Network Teams’ starting are allocated as an extension of BoP.

4 - Balance of Performance

- Target lap times for the 3 classes of; 3:30, 3:40, & 3:50 were used.

- In addition to lap time other factors were considered; fuel consumption and therefore stint length, tyre wear, and drivability.

- BoP is not final, if Team Managers have concerns, they will be addressed.

5 - 6 Hours of Silverstone & 6 Heures du Spa Practice Races

- These are this weekend and I would stingily advise every driver to attend at least one of them for at least a stint or two.

6 - Weather

Provisional settings;

20% at start
2x changeability

@MartiV8 - Apologies, the BRZ didn't make the final cut on BoP, and only LM GT-S entry is currently open;

Audi R8 LMS ultra
BMW M3 GT2
Nissan GT-R GT3

@Player 1 - No problem, we will race with the Nissan GT-R GT3 in that case.

Also, our second driver will be GV27 (GV27- on the PS3 online network)

We are from Barcelona, which officially is in Spain, but we would like to know if it could be possible for us to run under the Catalan flag (this one), instead of the Spanish one.

Thanks!

What time of Day are the practice races this weekend? I cannot seem to locate it on the first page. Just has the date listed.

Silverstone - 07:00 UTC SATURDAY
Spa - 17:00 UTC SUNDAY

- they have their own threads.
- times are flexible, demand depending.
- teams can enter two cars for more experience, if room.
- teams not competing at Le Mans may enter, if room.

I think the GT Cars, should have 500 Horsepower. Also, add some weight as well. The GT cars, are almost as fast as the LMP Cars. That should never happen!

20 seconds between us and the lmps so no need to add even more weight. Also, the GT class is currently doing round the same times as the real world GTLMs (and I don't want more than 1400 kg on that sls.. would destroy it :P )

Well the LMP's atheist need more HP the. BoP states

I'll list some Specs, from the Actual Gt Site. This is how these cars are in HP and Weight...

SLS 1320KG 500HP
Z4 1190KG 515HP
ZR1 1290KG 500HP
GT-R 1300KG 500HP
R8 1250 500HP

That's just to list a few GT Cars

Those specs aren't even possible in the game, SLS can have minimum 1350 kg. And the GT3 cars differ in more ways from the GTLM cars in the real world so can't just take the real world specs and hope it works. Player1 and his team have done a lot of work to get the BoP done an the cars even, don't think they want to do that again. LMPs are fast enough so shouldn't be a problem passing the GTs in the straights.

@jonnyb1990
Taking part in the practice races is not compulsory, however it is recommended.
Attendance will benefit your team, as you will get to know the other teams and drivers, and practice the End Stint Photo taking procedure, I don't want people to lose laps or even entire stints due to misunderstanding the process.
Attendance will benefit the event as it will allow us to iron out the kinks and make sure everything is as it should be, to ensure the main event is as smooth as possible, including connection issues.
BoP will not be adjusted if your car is quicker in your hands than the others in your class.
BoP may be adjusted if your car is quicker in the hands of others in your class.

@STALLIONO
Our LM GT-P = GT500 = DTM = GP2 with a roof = LM P2 (ish)

Red Bull Ring
GP2 =1:15.312
LM P2 = 1:23.871
DTM = 1:25.897

@Jakedog23
I am really not in favour of splitting the classes based upon religious beliefs.

@STALLIONO
Those figures are a little wonky, here is this year's table;

http://www.fia.com/sites/default/files/entry_lists_decisions/files/2014-03-07 FIA GT3 BoP.pdf

The GT6 cars are not the same as the real ones, so using that table as a guide is moot.
TBF though, we are not that far off.
