That wouldn't really work out for us in GORE. In that case we would have to drive on saturday but we wouldn't want to do that unless the tracks were switched too. So, we would really prefer the original times for the practice races.

Those specs aren't even possible in the game, SLS can have minimum 1350 kg. And the GT3 cars differ in more ways from the GTLM cars in the real world so can't just take the real world specs and hope it works. Player1 and his team have done a lot of work to get the BoP done an the cars even, don't think they want to do that again. LMPs are fast enough so shouldn't be a problem passing the GTs in the straights.
@jonnyb1990
Taking part in the practice races is not compulsory, however it is recommended.
Attendance will benefit your team, as you will get to know the other teams and drivers, and practice the End Stint Photo taking procedure, I don't want people to lose laps or even entire stints due to misunderstanding the process.
Attendance will benefit the event as it will allow us to iron out the kinks and make sure everything is as it should be, to ensure the main event is as smooth as possible, including connection issues.
BoP will not be adjusted if your car is quicker in your hands than the others in your class.
BoP may be adjusted if your car is quicker in the hands of others in your class.

@STALLIONO
Our LM GT-P = GT500 = DTM = GP2 with a roof = LM P2 (ish)

Red Bull Ring
GP2 =1:15.312
LM P2 = 1:23.871
DTM = 1:25.897

@Jakedog23
I am really not in favour of splitting the classes based upon religious beliefs.

@STALLIONO
Those figures are a little wonky, here is this year's table;

http://www.fia.com/sites/default/files/entry_lists_decisions/files/2014-03-07 FIA GT3 BoP.pdf

The GT6 cars are not the same as the real ones, so using that table as a guide is moot.
TBF though, we are not that far off.

I'd thought i'd add some Specs. Everyone was saying, how close the GT Cars where to the LMPs.. Just helping a little

@STALLIONO - I know, thank you. :) My point was that they are suppose to be close to the P1s as they are substitute P2s.

I prefer the proposed times. Much better than waking up at who-knows-what-time in the morning on Saturday. :lol:

I doubt this would work for CCR either, If the Saturday and Sunday times were swapped then we could.

Ok, I've added a poll.

- Vote for the time slots you can make.
- Vote for up to 4 time slots.
- We may use all the time slots dependant on demand.
- You are voting for yourself, not for your entire team.

The most popular time slot for Saturday will be 6h Silverstone. The other will be 4h Laguna Seca.

The most popular time slot for Sunday will be 6h Spa. The other will be 4h Spielberg.

So you can't make any of them?

25/6 Event Update

- Logos updates.

- All race times and links to threads are now in OP.

- N.B. voting for a time slot = signing up for that event.

- New entry list for all events, sorry its a page load hog. Please check that it is correct.

- We have 2 LM GT-S Super Teams. Theses are for individual drivers to fill the seats in the Audi and BMW. If you wan to to fill one send me a message or post on this thread.

@micantony @Chocochocochip5 - what will you be racing in and who with for the Silverstone & Spa events?

I should amend my statement, I didn't realise both timeslots would be used. CCR will only be at the two 6h races this weekend, and the 24 in two weekends.

Turtle are finalizing the driver lineups. Not sure if they need me to run this weekend or not, but will let you know when we figure it out. It appears we will have a team for both 6 hr races this weekend, but still to be confirmed.

Ok this is getting beyond confusing.
When are races
Can we enter a car for each driver
We want to use the races as test sessions and we may or may not finish them.
Etc etc
We plan to enter both...but..

I second this.

These practice races have been set up mainly for those who have not taken part, in a full length endurance race using 'Practice Lobby', to get used to the system of timing and scoring (Stint Photos) and driver changes. Please see the OP for full details on both procedures.

Whilst I have no problem with teams fielding multiple cars (e.g. a team of 4 fields 2 teams of 2), or even individual cars (if room), however I would recommend spending at least the some of your time practicing the procedures in race conditions.

No problem, if you could still take your Stint Photos, so we can include you in the results, that would be appreciated.

It was a shame that we couldnt enter the lobby for the Silverstone race last night. Is the Lemans race going to be held in the same lobby? We did notice however that the lobby last night had SRF allowed. Please can you confirm whether this will be the same for the Lemans race, as this will affect our entry if this is the case.
