So who do you guys think is going to win the chase? Who do you guys think is going to finish the season with the most points over the entire season?

Logano is a good dark horse pick. Harvick could be hard to beat too, but something tells me Jeff Gordon will win

I WANT Harvick to win the chase, but I honestly think it's going to be Gordon. Or possibly Keselowski.

I don't think It's Jimmie Johnson's year and hears why...

Jimmie wont have a sizable point cushion over guys like Kevin, Brad, and Jeff who average almost six to seven spots better than Jimmie at Homestead. Those drivers will be in the Final Four, and Jimmie will have do what he hasn't done before and WIN at Homestead. And if you think 2nd cuts it, ask Carl Edwards in the 2011 Chase. Of course he has the ability, and Jimmie seems to enjoy proving people wrong, and usually does. He probably will get his 7th Championship one of these years. But it's simply not going to be as automatic as it once was. We have to consider Homestead along with performance over 9 races before considering a favorite for the title. If you do that, Jimmie looks like more of an underdog for the title in the final race compared to the 4, 2 , and 24. Now that I think about it, because of this new format Johnson may never get his record tying 7th ring.

Jimmie Johnson will become Superman in the Chase yet again on route to his "record tying" 7th championship while Jeff Gordon scores the most points over the whole season. 👎

Kenseth and Edwards have both won at Homestead, if either of them make it to the final round my money's on them. But they probably won't make it to the final round.

Gordon will score the overall most points, Junior or someone unexpected will win the championship.
If that happens, Jeff will become (spiritually) a 7-Time Champion.

Or the Jr. posts so people can say that the new Chase format is rigged. Of course, I also want Jr. to win cause I'm a fan of him.

I'm ready for a Roush driver to win the title just to see the "He got lucky" posts
To be fair, if Biffle wins the championship this year, it will be 100% because of luck. Edwards isn't as reliant on luck, but he's gonna need a lot of it if he wants to win the championship this year.

It's weird knowing that my driver is in the chase and I can therefore trash talk this year instead of sitting on the sidelines.

Yes the team penske cars are just the fastest fords out there! They too much for roush to handle.

My prediction for the final four at Homestead is

Jeff Gordon
Brad Keselowski
Joey Logano
Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Hendrick vs Penske showdown. :)

My chase predictions. SHR will become the first team since Roush to win championships with different drivers within three years.

I have to think Harvick is going to be in the final four. He won't get eliminated in the first round (Allmendinger, Almirola, Biffle and Newman are most likely). If he makes it through Talladega as one of the top eight, he will be the favorite to win-and-advance at Phoenix, where he had a dominant win in the spring race.

My final four prediction is Harvick, Gordon, Keselowski, and Kenseth (leading laps and running top 5 recently). Any of them could win at Homestead. All four of them might not make it in, as I can just as easily see Jimmie, Junior, Joey, and either Busch brother as the final four. Who knows?

I'm didn't put Junior in the final round because of his three wins, two were on the same track (Pocono, which isn't in the chase as well as any track similar to Pocono) and Daytona...which is really a meaningless win because the winner of Daytona is usually some random driver anyway.

That should help #4 : Stewart & Harvick to switch pit crews

Any chance RCR/ECR gives Dinger a better engine with A.Dillon & Menard not in the Chase?

The heck? That looks terrible, the chase scheme fits Gordon's cars the best.
the Gordon car is 99% the same as his regular DTHE scheme, but I agree it looks good. I love the invert (at least the roof) they did on Logano's too:

The yellow number is going to look so dumb on the 22 car. And the #2 when he runs the Alliance scheme.
you tripping? it's awesome! see above, his regular:

Being a Steelers fan, that paint scheme looks pretty good with the yellow splitter, banner, and number. 👍
don't remember white being a dominant part of Steelers' colors?
Closest paint scheme this year if memory serves me correctly is Biffle's Meguiar's from the first Bristol race:

A little white and red, just like on the Steelers logo, main colors black & yellow.

Kurt in final 4? I don't think so....
indeed, I see one of the Busch bros as an early exit, I'd say Kyle judging by his latest Cup results.
