I really see no purpose to the chase schemes other than to sell more die-cast cars. They can say it's to make it easier to tell who's in the chase all they want, but having the names highlighted on the ticker seems to have worked well for the last decade.

You can't see the ticker from the grandstands.

Well you do have a point, it seems making the numbers yellow isn't going to work very well if non-chase drivers also have them as a part of their normal scheme (i.e. Michael McDowell's #95).

I don't mind the chase schemes, I don't think they look bad at all.

The Winston No Bull 5 cars had the same scheme in the late 90's early 00's, only with orange instead of yellow. Minus the windshield name banner, of course.

It really doesn't matter who wins. Someone will be crying foul one way or another. They just need to let the fans vote on the champion so Josh Wise will win :lol:
