Stubbed my toe today, its all black and blue... really hope its not broken :( not much I can do about it now though.

Can still drive, but hurts to walk. Hope its just a sprain / bruising.

I wonder if we will still in those caravans that the Shannons Supercar Showdown contestants stayed in, parked in the Kelly Racing lot? That's going to be comfortable!! ;-)

Is the Kelly Racing HQ the venue for the national final? Will be fun/interesting to watch from the sidelines this year since this is the closest GT Academy has come to New Zealand in the past four years since 2010. In any case good luck to everyone who made it through and don't forget to "give it some jandal"! :sly:
 
Probably should have a talk to the Nismo people about this, should be just a provisional driving license with Manual, its quite a big disadvantage to us.
 
Disadvantage to VIC you mean?

If 21 is the case, there are 3 people high in the top 14 who would be ineligible due to having a provisional licence in VIC.

It's pretty clear in the rules with no exceptions so I wonder how they'll handle it.
 
So the other states get of their P's before 21? Doesn't seem fair at all for the young guys here in VIC then. Maybe its an insurance issue?

These guys can drive as well or better than most of us. They should be in by 18 I reckon to get them at their peak.
 
Yeah absolutely agree with you, it is unfair to VIC residents, that's why I'm curious to see how they'll handle it.

It says clearly in the rules that they are ineligible, but if they lived in another state then they would be fine.

It must be something to do with insurance though like you said. If that's the case then I can't see a way around it.

Kiwis welcome? Missed the US/Canada/GBR one due to timezone factors...be good to practise with a wildcard too in case there's a few in your nationals!

Hi guys, haven't posted for a long time. I'm stoked to have made the finals again! Good to see some familiar names, and some new blood coming through. My preparation has been less than ideal working a 2:1 mining roster and in the middle of moving interstate but just made it! I scraped through the live qualifiers in WA with the 1.04.1. I could only do a couple of days online so only managed a 2.15.9.

Anyway, looking forward to meeting you all and catching up with the people i met last time. I'm keen for the practice tonight! I will add you

And yep, I scanned mine in after writing everything out. I read that you could also just photograph the pages with a good camera in good lighting if need be (from an american thread I was scanning a while back), but that was just for an affidavit they had to fill out. So for ours it would need to be really clear or scanned.

Not sure who is hosting tonight, but odds are R0T0R will be initially. And to avoid the 'room full' message coming up when you join, the 'new friend' must be 'friended' _before_ the room is started, otherwise the new person trying to get in will get that message. So send R0T0R a friend request now if you can.

If there is a problem thou, msg on here, and i'm sure we can restart the server. Server should be up about 7.45 I think.

Btw, the server is closed to only ROOZ members, and now aussie GTA guys going to finals, as far as i'm aware... (just in case their are any lurkers here wanting to race from overseas, sorry).

Yeah, i dare say i will to start with.

Make sure you have all the cars listed in the other gt prac thread, NO oil change.

If you add as a friend, make sure you restart your PS3, other wise you wont find the room!

Msg R0T0R and ask. It should be ok given your from across the ditch and will have a good enough ping. But we are starting to probably get near the room limit, so your request might be declined... not sure, ask :)
