I'm not sure I get it? First it's not PD or Nissan's fault (or at least only their fault) plus Quebec has been excluded from the start...

Bad phrasing on his part, pretty sure he meant Canada should have been allowed from the first NA competition onwards minus Quebec. I agree with you though, it's not their fault, but they should have recognised the demand with the second one.

Well its a shame that you cant, you and I plus many others have been waiting for this chance. are you 'Thanks_Eh" too?

What will probably be the final standings update from me right here. Not a whole lot of North Americans ended up in the top 250, but given the general opinion of round 3 I'm guessing there were a lot of guys just grabbing gold and sufficing.

Well, final round is here, so best of luck to everyone giving it a serious go in hopes of making the national finals! I hope to be there, and I'm sure this round should be more fun than the last, so let's have a great last couple of weeks. 👍

Hey guys, good luck on the last round!

Just picked up GT6 a few days before round 1 to give it a go. Been getting higher every round. Think I was 30 something in the US last night when I turned it off. Did 8 Laps around Spa during lunch, 2:20.6 clean and in the 19's dirty with much room to improve! Love that track!

I'm at 2:16.760 in final round... 6th in Canada... Still room for a 2:15... Maybe 2:15.7
or hopefully better. I don't think I can do it, but I'm going to try.

Do we have a running list of those drivers that aren't eligible? Either because they've been to race camp before or are underage? I thought I saw one somewhere, but I'm being a bit lazy at the moment.

It took about 124 miles on the ticker for me to finally get a clean good lap. puts it at 2'19.829. I am not happy with that, but we still have almost two weeks left.

I am looking for some advice from after Eau Rouge. The straight there, it seems that the car's understeer increases immensely for me making tackling all the corners slower and slower. I have watched a few replays and have gotten some good brake points after Eau Rouge, but maybe my technique is what causes the major understeer. It seems that Bruxelles and Campus are where I am losing a ton of time, but I make it up from Stavelot to the finish against some of the ghosts I am chasing. I am losing at least 3 seconds in my laps from what I can see.

I would appreciate any an all advice people can give me here. :-)

As you come up to Eau Rouge I turn in just as I pass the last brake marker and start looking at the apex of the right hander, it should set you up well if you don't turn in to early. That curb will bump the car to the left and discount the lap pretty easily.

2:15.048. Pretty happy so far, but I want to get into the 14s :)
You're gonna get it. I just ran a 15.098 but because I was a millimeter too far off at Pouhon, it didn't count. :(

I did salvage a .309 which has me 3rd in the US. How is that even possible? :boggled:

I'm not getting any faster at Spa, so it looks like I'm out. :/

WHAT THE ****
People already trying to quit!?

Not happening! You don't stop, ever. Don't even try to excuse yourself, you're better than that. You get back on that horse and you ride it out until you can't feel anymore, then get back on it and give the final push. Do not settle for anything less than leaving your all out there be a good example to yourself. Kick-ass. You don't have to win, but kick-ass.
