That's exactly how it works.

Seems like it. I'm still "way" off pace.

1:03.586 has me in 294th... Basically I'm in the top 4 for Canada. Technically. I know 1/4 guys in front of me are ineligible... Hoping I get in at the late stage to embarrass myself in the future.

Yes sir! I got the paperwork taken care of. If i was anyone expecting to make the finals, I would get my passport right now. DO NOT LEAVE IT TO LAST MINUTE! Lol.

And as far as this event goes, i will probebly push for a 1 03.4xx and start practicing with rwd cars. No point in waisting time with this car.

I will do the same, but I'll push for a 1:03.6

I'm really have a hard time breaking 1.o4 doodle your replay helped me cut a second so thanks for that! Are you guys staying on throttle when braking?

Played about 30 minutes, most of that time shaking off some big time rust. 1:03.611 which is... okay, I guess. While I don't plan on going to Finals, I'm still gunning for a good time. My wheel will probably not survive the endeavor, which will give me the perfect excuse to finally buy a new one.

Ha, I know what you mean. If my wheel's groaning and whining is any indication I'll be in the market for a new one before too long as well. Shame you won't be giving it a go this year, but understandable due to the complications of last year. Hope you get the opportunity to give it a real shot again 👍

1.5 month without playing GT6 definatly make me feel rusty  had 30 minutes free this morning and seen a 1:03.656 i think, definatly looking for more if im lucky enought to play.

Goodluck everyone :)

Nice going Andrew @Doodle !

Mine imitates the smell of burnt rubber and a good day is when I point it straight and it... goes straight.

There's a myriad of reasons why I'm done with GTA but the largest one is money. Even with the best of odds, I'd lose to much more experienced people at Silverstone and end up paying a $5K+ tax bill. On the other hand, I could save up enough money to buy a modestly priced fast car and enjoy it at my leisure with track days and whatnot.

If I was ten years younger and have had enough quality seat time, my answer would be far different. Envious of you younger kids.

What track do you guys think the final will be? According to the picture it hints at Nurburgring. But 2012 and 2013 both unveiled new tracks. (Motegi and silverstone) or maybe they'll have silverstone as the final. Although I hope not. I suck at that track.

No idea, and doesn't affect me regardless, but considering the last two years and the lack of dlc for GT6 thus far, I'll hedge my bets on an entirely new track. Interlagos, perhaps? Eh, I'm not bothered.

Maybe this applies more to Canadians, is there any specified level of drivers licence you need/should have? ...only have G1 at the moment, dunno if it'll matter but thought I'd ask.

Looks like I hit my limit in about 2 hours :ouch: I'll be happy if I dip into the .6's. Reminds me of the Focus ST we ran in the wrs like a month ago, I wish I was just .25 behind Doodle again

No idea what G1 is, but I'll guess that's some sort of novice license? I can't find where there's more details, but the GTA articles say just a valid drivers license and passport for international travel. It doesn't specify waht license and if it needs to be held for a certain period of time.

Yeah, beginers (goes G1,2, full is G). BC doesn't have the same/similar? Also didn't find any more details.
I should go for my next level soon either way. Gets really annoying playing GT all day and then riding the bus/bike around...:banghead:

You may have to upgrade to G if you stand a chance of making it through. I know in Ontario to get your racing licence you got to have a G.
