Isn't the copa del ray a 2 leg semi final too?
Yep. I would not be surprised if Barcelona can get to double figures on aggregate.

Sevilla play Celta Vigo tonight. Both sides have won against Barca this season as well.

We will probably know the title winner with about 95% accuracy after the next two weekends.

Leicester v Man City
Arsenal v Leicester
Man City v Tottenham

Absolutely huge.

Those two games for Leicester have to be their biggest games of the their season....

If they can survive them without two losses, they have to be favourites for the title. Even if they didn't, they still have a very good chance.

Also, Spurs play Arsenal and Leicester play United at the end of the month, and everyone plays Chelsea which can really shake things up, as there is a good chance that Chelsea will be the best team in the league for the next 4 months.

Games this weekend

Saturday
Aston Villa v Norwich
Liverpool v Sunderland
Man City v Leicester (12.45 BT)
Newcastle v West Brom
Stoke v Everton
Southampton v West Ham (5.30 Sky)
Swansea v Crystal Palace
Tottenham v Watford

Sunday
Bournemouth v Arsenal (1.30 Sky)
Chelsea v Man United (4pm Sky)

Liverpool fans planning a walk out on 77 minutes tomorrow in protest to proposed ticket price increases next season.

Speaking of Liverpool, transfer target Alex Texiera is the latest big name to play in China, joining one of their clubs (cant remember which) for a record £35 million, it also turns out that Jackson Martinez will be paid £250k a week whilst playing there, which puts him in the top five highest earners in World Football, ahead of Neymar and Bale

The Chinese transfer window now tallies up to £200 million. And their is still loads of time for more signings.

Chinese offer of £57 million was rejected by Chelsea for Oscar but a counter offer is to be later made.

The Special One's "people" have been in talks with Manchester United according to the BBC news this morning.

Leicester City 2-0 up at Man City right now... most of the 2nd half still to play, but could be a massive result in the making...

This performance is why Peligrini isn't going to remain at the club.

Spurs really should smash this City side next week, they are woeful today.

Sergio Agüero scored so final score: Manchester City 1-3 Leicester City.

Good to see Leicester doing so well 👍, closest Premier League team to me.

Barnsley's Lee Johnson joins the @Liquid list twice, leaving the Tykes to become manager of Bristol City, for some reason.

Leicester. 👍

6 points ahead of Man City. Spurs and Arsenal can come to 5 points.

They are going to do it.

Thirteen minutes of injury time in the first half in Birmingham vs Wednesday, caused by injuries to our goalkeeper and centre-half - both of whom were substituted in the first 22 minutes. Birmingham, of course, scored in the 5th minute of first half injury time...

And the only yellow cards shown so far have been to Wednesday players.

I've just woken up (working nights) and checked the premier league scores. I certainly didn't expect that, I thought they might win but by 2 goals? Very well done Villa :sly:

Amazing result for Leicester yesterday, pretty much all the Bookies make them favourites for the title now.

Arsenal 0-2 up v Bournemouth at half time, goals from Ozil and The Ox which around 90 seconds apart, Chelsea v Man United to come....

Disappointing draw yesterday after leading, we threw it away, great goal by Lingard thought, but a draw does neither team any favours really...

There's something in the water in the Championship today...

Neil Redfearn has been sacked as Rotherham boss - and immediately installed as favourite for the Barnsley job - while Paul Clement has been sacked from Derby County, with them fifth in the table...

Mancunians.

How is Memphis doing? He sort of dropped off the radar here.

I don't see how he can improve himself with 5 mins at the end of the match. What is there to say about he came on for 5 mins and made 2 passes, I don't blame him for making a run.

That's just one match. Did he do anything worthwhile lately? Or is the Premier League, or Man U, turning out to be a to big of a step for Memphy?

Edit.

It seems so, since he now has played in the U21 team.

Derby sacking Clement seems shocking, fifth in the table only five or so points off top, seems stupid...

Depay got himself 3 assists in U21 game against Norwich.

Gary seems to be enjoying his current role. Definitely a person who is not fit to manage such a big club.

They haven't won a league game since Boxing Day, when they beat a team who are in the relegation battle. A couple of reasonably comprehensive defeats in there too.

I know but to be in fifth place, in the play-offs, and say there is 'no progress' having failed to get into the play-offs last season under a different manager is hard to believe. Instant success or you're sacked. It's quite bad up and down the leagues. Look at Redfearn at Rotherham, they were always going to be in a relegation battle so what's the point in hiring anyone when you're going to sack them after four months because you're not immediately midtable?

At least with Lee Johnson moving up to Bristol City, although he is doing the old "take over a club in the relegation zone a division higher up" risk, it is with a club for whom he played over 200 games. Much of it managed by his father! I'd be a bit cross if I was a Barnsley fan though; he's been there just under a year and he's jumped at the first better chance he can get. Hard to get invested in the team at a time like that.

Catch up:

6th February - Lee Johnson (Barnsley, moves to Bristol City) League One
8th February - Neil Redfearn (Rotherham United, sacked) Championship
8th February - Paul Clement (Derby County, sacked) Championship

Sackings: 38
Resignations: 4
Expirations: 2
Approaches: 5

Total: 49
