Not bad, can make a tidy profit if Boro get to the PL then...

Strangest transfer of the window has just happened, Steven Fletcher from Sunderland to Marseille on loan till the end of the season!

Everton sign striker Oumar Niasse for £13.5 million from Lokomotiv Moscow.

Breaking!, Stoke sign Gianneli Imbula from Porto for a club record £18.3 million, he is a defensive midfielder...

Rhodes confirmed at Boro, best of luck to him 👍
Despite his goals I don't know if he's the right player to be honest, we play with a 4231 and the main striker is often very isolated. We've been after him for the last few windows though so they must be confident that he can fit into our team.

So I said that today could be all about Saido Berahino, but I was wrong, absolutely nothing happened on that front and he remains at WBA, also the bad times get worse at Villa as the club which badly needed some new players in the window didn't sign anyone, reports are saying that Remi Garde is considering his future there, they are sliding dismally into the Championship.

I don't want to be Berahino, having Peace just block his career from progressing. I don't think I'd play for him in that situation either.

Also not happy that Spurs loaned Pritchard to WBA, I'd literally prefer him at Villa than there.

Premier League Football is back tonight after the weekends cup stuff

Tonight
Arsenal v Southampton
Crystal Palace v Bournemouth (8pm)
Leicester v Liverpool
Man United v Stoke
Norwich v Tottenham
Sunderland v Man City
West Brom v Swansea (8pm)
West Ham v Aston Villa (8pm BT)

Wednesday Night
Everton v Newcastle
Watford v Chelsea (7.45pm BT)

Two games for BT, the other games kick-off at 7.45, any new signings made yesterday can play tonight as long as they were bought before midday yesterday.

Really happy with the United win, played some great football and the passage of play for Martial's goal was something else, Rooney has seven goals in 2016 and is just five behind Sir Bobby Charlton's record.

Swansea picked up a decent point but could've been more until Rondon equalised in the 92nd minute.

Jackson Martinez has joined Guangzhou Evergande for €45 mill. Watching him develop when he first joined Porto and destroying every defender in the Liga Port for 3 seasons and then being used as a bench warmer for Atletico and 4 months later moving to China. Real shame.

Forgot to add the Chinese transfer market doesn't end until the 26th.

That makes me wonder why none of the bigger clubs in the PL tried to sign him?...

Well he is 29 and Atletico paid €35 mill only a couple of months ago so it is not expected another club would already try and sign him.

I noticed that a lot of outbound Chinese transfers occurred during this window. Coupled with the Portuguese league's upcoming mandatory inclusion quotas for Chinese players, how serious a player can or will China be?

I'm annoyed that this is happening. Not because I am bitter that the cradle of football is moving away from Europe, but because it's China; in almost any aspect of industry or politics, they are as crooked as the rest if not more. It's frustrating to see.

With the exception of Ramires and Jackson Martinez they [Chinese clubs] quietly went about signing players who are under the radar; young players, players who might not have made the grade yet. It seems that they are trying to avoid becoming an India or Kuwait in being a playground for washed-up veterans.

Edit: Just for fun.

League goals in 2015-16:
Morecambe goalkeeper Barry Roche: 1
Stevenage goalkeeper Jesse Joronen: 1
Eden Hazard: 0

Vardy's 1st goal against Liverpool...

-

Also, Yaya Toure may be off to China... for £570,000 a week (or £30 million a year). Getting a bit silly now.

Vardy goal is unreal!, Arsenal were top of the table at the start of the month but no win in their last four means they are now five points off top.

Man United fans were chanting 'you can stick Guardiola up your arse' last night.

Arsenal's form is atrocious, the performance yesterday was not bad but the amount of chances missed is unacceptable. Even when we were top I knew it will be very very hard for us to win the league. Maybe not being top now will help us.

I heard Fraser Forster played a blinder. No surprise, really. I'm glad he continues to do so well.

Arsenal throwing away their best chance at a title in a while.

When do Leicester become favourites? Are they already favourites?

Everton beat Newcastle 3-0, goals from Lennon and two penalties from Barkley, Newcastle had Lascalles sent off, Watford and Chelsea played out a dull 0-0 where nothing much of note happened, Chelsea have still to win back to back league games this season.

Gary Neville's Valencia got thumped 7-0 by Barcelona in the Copy Del Ray!.

We will probably know the title winner with about 95% accuracy after the next two weekends.

Leicester v Man City
Arsenal v Leicester
Man City v Tottenham

Absolutely huge.
