Welp. Feyenoord won, 2-1, and the game reminded me why I don't watch Dutch football anymore.

It was just awful to watch. So terrible. Even the relentless fighting spirit of both teams can't hide the fact that it's just horrible to watch.

Just had a look at the PFA team of the year again. What the hell is Bellarin doing there?

Because he is one of the best RB's in the league and if not the best. His pace and discipline are what saves Arsenal's 'bacon' when they are on the end of a counter attack.

Congrats to both Mahrez and Alli on winning the player of the year and young player of the year respectively, well deserved 👍

Barcelona's Bad run continues, lost 1-2 at home to Valencia, a few weeks ago they were nine points clear at the top, they are still top but only on goal difference now from Atletico and a point clear of Real, what's going on with them?!
The race for Liga title might be decided on goal difference as Atletico and Barca have easy fixtures....
As I understand, goal difference doesn't matter given the head-to-head results against each other.

Exactly so why mention about goal difference?

Yep.
Barca and Atletico are level on points at the top but Real are one point behind them but have a way better goal difference than Atletico and have a one goal deficit to Barca. That's why I mentioned the goal difference.

In premier league news however Tottenham have just conceded. They're 1-1 with Craig Dawson getting both goals. They need to win.

It doesn't matter though regarding goal difference. Real Madrid could have best goal difference but if they finish on same points as Atlético Madrid and/or Barcelona, they will finish behind.

You don't say....... :irked: If Barca fail to secure all wins in their next matches and Real capitalise on this then the decider could possibly be on goal difference.

Juventus have secured the Serie A title after Napoli lost to Roma today. But Roma are now 2 points from 2nd place. :D

Well currently it is between Barca and Atletico. So I don't know what's your logic on why it is impossible?
As it is based on head-to-head and the results of them games are already known, goal difference doesn't matter at all in the title race. If Atlético had 100 more goals now, they would still be behind Barcelona. Real would still be behind Barcelona and Atlético even if they were on level on points now.

Goal difference only matters if the games between the teams had the same end result.

Edit.

Now I am quite the fan of van Gaal the manager, not so much everything else van Gaal, but I really hope Manchester United has a terrible offday coming Sunday.

Hoping Manchester United win personally.
Oh I see my bad.

Just a win and a draw. Don't mess this up Leicester!
Just a win needed to guarantee it.

Need to finish top 4, and also win home league table. ;) Think Leicester will win the league even if they lose remaining 3 games, United need the points more. Leicester is the most local Premier League team to me so will be good to see them winning it.

Bad night for Spurs, looks like its all about Leicester now, that's only the third time in Premier League history that a player has scored both goals in a 1-1 draw.

Extra game ban for Vardy sounds about right.

I hope Leicester win it rather than Tottenham lose it. I want to see the Leicester fans go mental when the full time whistle goes. Be a shame if they lose to us but tottenham also lose to Chelsea and they get it that way.

An extra match ban is fair. You just can't point at the ref and call him a 🤬 period. I wouldn't have been surprised if it was more.

Hoping Leicester and Tottenham lose their next game. That way the champions will win it (One blue team to another) for them and gives Manchester United still chance of finishing second and also will beat Leicester to top spot on home league table.

Really? Because I saw Vertonghen do exactly that yesterday after being called for a foul late in the game of the NBCSN broadcast I was watching. And let's not get into what Alli did after just being named young player of the year...

Alli:
Alli has been charged with violent conduct following his punch on Yacob.
Vertonghen should be banned then. It's the FA being all wibbly wobbly on the rules that's the issue.
