Word from Goodison is that Martinez is on the @Liquid list...

There's also some 'good' news from Brammall Lane. Looks like the Blades are really gambling on that promotion; Clough sacked for losing in the play-offs, Adkins looking at the door for not making the play-offs... wonder how much these promotion challenges affect their bank balance?

Dickie the Advocaat will be Danny The Failure Blind's new assistant at the Dutch squad.

Expect results.

No, I meant Blind. ;)

I hope yesterday, but he is chest deep into the asshole of Bert van Oostveen, head of the KNVB, who, coincidentally also is a massive failure who likes where he is now.

Absolutely no surprise for me about Martinez, they have been in free fall for much of the season and have been abysmal in the last month or so, De Boer favourite for the job.

Yaya Toure's 33rd Birthday tomorrow, Man City must remember to get him a massive cake in the shape of a Lamborghini, or a 'sorry your leaving' card will be more apt.

Well... I'm SHOCKED. SHOCKED.

Newcastle relegated and Sheffield United sack their manager in the face of another season in the 3rd tier. You must be quite the happy chappy.

Might as well do my early table predictions for next season.

1) Chelsea
2) Manchester United
3) Arsenal
4) Manchester City
5) Tottenham
6) Liverpool
7) Southampton
8) Everton
.
.
.
18) Aston Villa
19) Norwich
20) Newcastle
Not a bad relegation prediction if I say so myself :P. As for the top of the table, well, I'd be very surprised if anyone got that correct.

I got Aston Villa correct, Chelsea as first (excuse me while I laugh even harder) Spurs 5th Liverpool 6th.

Pretty much complete failure.

Well, we're a few short weeks away from the next thread and 2015/16 has entered endtime. I knew there was a reason Chris Wilder turned down the Charlton job...

12th May - Roberto Martinez (Everton, sacked) Premier League
12th May - Nigel Adkins (Sheffield United, sacked) League One
12th May - Chris Wilder (Northampton Town, moves to Sheffield United) League Two

Sackings: 51
Resignations: 5
Expirations: 2
Approaches: 6
Kicks Upstairs: 1

Total: 65

Ridiculous.

If you deduct the managerial poaches, the contract expirations and Russell Slade moving upstairs, it's "only" 56.

From 9-freaking-2.

By the way, Dennisch, de Boer is the favourite for the Everton job. He came quite close to winning five Eredivisies in a row, only to slip up against De Graafschap on the final day!

Wait so Wilder storms the league with Northampton and then he leaves?

Bigger budget at Sheff U, I imagine. Turned down the Charlton job, who are going to join Northampton and Sheff U in L1, presumably because the club is a bloody shambles and has an inferior budget.

Quique Flores will leave Watford at the end of this season. As will Mark Cooper at Notts County; he's already agreed to take over Forest Green Rovers.

Good news for Spurs fans, Pochettino has agreed a two year extension to his existing deal, meaning his contract now runs to 2021.

I'm not sure what to make of the Flores news. On one hand, he has done the best job possible with the squad at his disposal. On the other, I think Watford have been found out this season and will need a complete change of style to survive next year.

He is proven in Spain as well as England so I'm a little bit surprised he wasn't trusted for next season with a nice summer transfer budget. Although I guess Watford are known for getting rid of managers.

Poch signing on is fantastic news, I hope he never leaves.

Also coming out of Spurs this morning is news that Ryan Mason and Tom Carroll are being transfer listed. Fairly sad, as they are local lads who support the club as well as play for it and as much as I wanted them to be, they just aren't good enough for a top 4 PL team. I really hope they do well in the future, same as Townsend.

Flores being shown the door isn't really a surprise, it feels like we've been in relegation form ever since Xmas... looking back, only Arsenal's revenge for getting knocked out of the cup (when they tonked us 4-0) stands out, a lot of those defeats in the second half of this season were by a single goal, and we still picked up points here and there.

Having said that, I thought we would be going straight back down this year considering all the players that came in last summer, so by and large he's done a good job. FA Cup semi-final wasn't too bad either! But, I fear we're going to suffer from second season syndrome next year...

Mourinho said yes to United.

So, same as every other week but with different wording.

Anyways, Guardiola, Mourinho, Klopp, Conte, Wenger, Poch and Alan Pardew all in the same league next season.:)
