This is the thread for the Turtle Beach IndyCar Series. After a hiatus in 2014, the IRG's IndyCar Series will return in 2015 with a 20 race calendar. For the first time in the TBICS history, two Indianapolis 500 races will be on the calendar, as the 2014 Indy 500 will open up the season, while the 2015 edition will take place following a regular season slot. Here are the regulations for the IndyCar Series:

I. Registration
I.a. Driver Registration

  1. All drivers must reserve a number that will identify them in racing sessions during scoring, penalization, and points tracking. Numbers must be valid numbers between 0-99. (NOTE: Retired numbers are 5, 11, 26, 51, 84, 96. These numbers can only be used by the driver that originally used the number. If that driver is in the Hall of Immortality, then that number has been permanently retired.)
  2. All TBICS rookies must either attend one f the specified dates for a test to earn their licenses required to compete, or schedule a private test with an IRG official.
  3. All drivers must belong to a team of some variety. Freelance drivers are not permitted.
  4. Teams must state at some point in offseason whether they are full time or part time. Full time implies that they will attempt to at least qualify for every race, while Part time, which implies that they will partake in 15 races or less, must clarify what races they will and will not attempt to make if at all possible.
  5. Drivers, before each race weekend, must state their intentions to race, as well as the tire compounds they intend to qualify on. Drivers that fail to do this will not be permitted to start the race.
  6. Drivers must adhere to the IRG Drivers Code of Conduct at all series functions.
  7. All drivers must follow the Winner's Policy (I.f) when it applies. Otherwise their results will not be archived as statistical records and will not grant them access into the Hall of Immortality.
I.b. Team Registration
  1. Teams registering in the series must have the following requirements: Original Team Name, Team Principal, Car Color (Not already in use), Engine Supplier, Driver
  2. Teams may be single or multi car operations. Multi-car operations are limited to 4 full time rides and 2 part time rides.
  3. Teams may not share setups with other teams/drivers from other teams at any time during the season. If this is found to have happened, then both parties involved will be excluded from the race results, and barred from the following event.
  4. Team orders will not be permitted outside of fuel strategy. Determining position, deliberately causing a caution period, or balking other drivers out of passes or points will be penalized by a 100 point team championship penalty, 45 point penalty for the drivers involved, and 6 month probation for all parties involved.
  5. Team principals have the ability to join the Turtle Beach IndyCar Series Teams Association, aimed at giving teams more of a voice to be able give feedback to the IRG organizers, as well as to give their drivers another way of powerful communication.
I.c. Mid-Season Driver Acceptance
  1. As is the case with any series in the history of mankind, there may be drivers that come into the series picture after the first race of the season. However, they too have a certain set of requirements and deadlines that they must follow.
  2. Drivers joining midseason must wait seven days before becoming an official IRG driver. This allows the series and driver to acquire the necessary paperwork, undergo an immediate licence test for the track coming up on the calendar, finalize team arrangements, allow driver to access the rulebook and guidelines available, and to get familiar with the drivers and the process.
  3. New drivers must attend the practice session before the race to be further evaluated under race conditions with other drivers. This may be spontaneous, so the officials have been given guidelines on how to adjust accordingly.
  4. Drivers must confirm that they will attempt more than one race to be permitted entry. One race wonders as they are called will not be tolerated.
I.d. Mid-Season Team Acceptance
  1. Much like the drivers that join midseason, teams also have set guidelines to follow when joining late.
  2. Teams must follow the same guidelines as in I.b above, but with a far more stringent deadline. Teams must endure a 14 day organization program to ensure a solid team base within the series as well as secure their drivers.
  3. Incoming team principals will have the same right to the ICSTA as the other team principals once their team has competed in a race.
  4. Once a team has participated in a session preparing for a race, they must also follow the ban on tune sharing. However, they may act as a funnel for tuning for other teams until that point, as they have not yet appeared in an IRG scoring monitor.
I.e. Driver Changes
  1. Over the course of the season, only 36 drivers are allowed in to the series, either as full time or part time drivers. No more than 36 will be permitted in, so drivers will have to make commitments to their teams.
  2. Teams with open slots cannot house a different driver each race. Each team is restricted to six entries totals and eight drivers.
  3. Drivers changing teams midseason must state that they are doing so 7 days ahead of the next event. Drivers that fail to do so will be forced to sit out that event.
  4. Drivers swapping teams will retain their driver number in the switch, but must use the new team's car color.
  5. Teams that terminate drivers must state a relevant reason for the termination. Acceptable reasons are: Incompatibility with multiple other team members, Inadequate participation in team events, garnering of consequences against the team for a driver's explicit actions., and other possible reasons if found acceptable by the officials presentation.
  6. Drivers that are terminated by a team may file a Petition of Unfairness, which will then summon an investigation into the matter by IRG. If found guilty, the team may be suspended or face a team points penalty, depending on the nature of the case.
I.f. Driver Substitutions
  1. Teams are permitted a total of five substitutions per racing season.
  2. Driver substitutes are drivers that must carry an IRG Super License to be considered available.
  3. Driver substitutes can not be affiliated with one particular team, but may be affiliated with an engine manufacturer or be a complete free agent.
  4. In the case of emergency situations that may occur over the course of a weekend, a substitution may be made to keep that team's entry in the race. The substitution, if made after qualifying has completed, will start in the rear of the starting order. (In the case of multiple substitutions occurring in this matter, the order will be determined by Team Championship positions at that time.)
  5. If a driver manages practice, but becomes unavailable for qualifying, the driver substitute may qualify on his own and start from that position without penalty.
  6. In the case that I.f.4 occurs, the substitute and driver emeritus will score the same points for the position finished, with the substitute gaining all bonus points earned as well.
  7. In the case that I.f.5 occurs, the driver emeritus will score half points of the position finished instead of full points.
  8. Regardless of the case, the team will score full points for that entry if that entry is their best finisher.
I.g. Winner's Policy
  1. Drivers that win the Indianapolis 500 Mile Race, Rookie of the Year, Driver's Championship are entitled to release their first and last name for public record to be placed on the winning statistics.
  2. Any driver that wins a race, scores a podium, wins a pole position, or wins any other award is also entitled to release their first and last name for public record.
  3. Drivers that fail to do this will not be statistically credited with winning the races they won and in certain instances, the name of the runner up will fill in that spot. (This applies only to I.f.1)
  4. Drivers that apply to I.f.2 will just be left unincluded in the record books and will not be eligible for Hall of Immortality status.
  5. All race winners, regardless on if they agree to follow the previous points, must produce their race winning setups on the GTPlanet tunes page or the series thread within 48 hours of race conclusion or face disqualification.
I.h. IRG Hall of Immortality
  1. Drivers that achieve elite status as one of the greats of the IRG and the series they competed in will be eligible for Hall of Immortality.
  2. The Hall of Immortality admits one driver a year to its ranks as an immortal figure within the IRG.
  3. A ceremony held before the Indianapolis 500 will mark the acceptance of that person, and their accomplishments will be read aloud to all in attendance.
  4. Each Hall of Immortality member will receive a gold plaque with their name, PSN ID that they used, accomplishments, and date etched onto it within a week of the ceremony.
  5. Drivers become eligible for Hall of Immortality status once they have done two of the following: Win a Driver's Championship, Win an Indianapolis 500, Win Rookie of the Year honors, score 50% of the races in a podium position, win 10 races or more, be a team principal of a championship-winning team.
  6. Special exceptions can be made by the IRG CEO himself as he sees fit.
I.i. IRG Driver Code of Conduct
  1. Drivers, first and foremost, are expected to maintain a clean racing environment at all times in all IRG sanctioned lobbies, events, and hubs.
  2. Respect for fellow competitors and teams must be adopted to achieve sportsmanship, which is a necessity in itself to be able to enjoy the races we provide.
  3. Drivers, team principals, and fans need to carry respect for the race stewards that oversee and review the race, as their job is by far the hardest of any position in a series.
  4. Drivers, teams, and fans are urged to be considerate of everyone's ethnic, cultural, religious, political, and sexual orientations. Prejudice, racism, sexism, ageism, and inflammatory remarks are strictly prohibited in any series function that the IRG is a part of.
  5. At no time during an event will a competitor be permitted to "badger" or strife another driver over a mistake. Drivers are human, mistakes are made. This is racing. Sneering down to an equal peer will be highly penalizable.
  6. During interviews, press conferences, and other media gatherings, it is held with high honor that you refrain from cursing or other informal language in right of the overall integrity of the other drivers, media personnel, teams, and the league itself.
  7. At no point will political or religious debate be allowed to occur on IRG ground. IRG stands as a neutral party on all accounts and will not condone discussions over personal beliefs.
  8. Discriminating or likewise belligerent remarks against/towards another driver or team, a different series or organization, or a different party altogether is very prohibited. IRG wishes to remain at peaceful and cooperative terms with all different series.

III. Turtle Beach IndyCar Series Teams Association
III.a. Description

  1. The Turtle Beach IndyCar Series Teams Association, abbreviated ICSTA, is designed for the team principals of each competing team to be able to gather and voice the thoughts and opinions of themselves and their drivers.
  2. ICSTA is an optional gathering; all team principals will receive an automatic invitation, and cannot be turned away, but they do not have to attend if they do not feel the need to.
  3. Only the team principals can attend the meetings, and for teams with multiple people of power, only one person can represent that team.
III.b. Actions
  1. ICSTA can be a board of suggestion, a place where the teams can voice their concerns from an on track standpoint, as opposed to the technical standpoint provided by the Penalty Review Board and the common man standpoint of the Executive Officer.
  2. ICSTA can organize mid season tests, as well as propose changes to the PRB over technical regulations. ICSTA can also suggest changes to the way the media is handled as well as release team statements to the media outlets available.
  3. ICSTA, in times of absolute need, can also resort to boycott if their is overall conflict.
IV. Qualification For TBICS Licenses
IV.a. TBICS Limited License

  1. The TBICS Limited License is offered to those that complete the required mandates for oval racing.
  2. All Limited License tests will take place at Indianapolis Motor Speedway's oval configuration, where drivers will need to set a 4 lap average within 105% of the target time.
  3. Limited Licenses can be withheld or revoked if it is felt that they pose an immediate danger internet wise to the other drivers, regardless of their results.
  4. Limited Licenses need to be renewed each off-season, as they have a 12 month duration.
IV.b. TBICS Articulation License
  1. The TBICS Articulation License is a license offered to drivers that are road course specialists, but do not wish to race ovals.
  2. Articulation License tests will have different venues per year, and like the Limited License, a four lap average will be used as comparison to a target time. Drivers must keep their average with 107% of that target time.
  3. Unlike Limited Licenses, Articulation licenses aren't necessarily revoked for internet concerns. Drivers will instead be issued a desist restraint preventing them from challenging overtakes on tracks that may present a clear danger to drivers.
  4. Articulate Licenses have a 24 month duration, but can be renewed yearly.
IV.c. IRG Super License
  1. The IRG Super License is required for drivers competing in the full season of TBICS.

  4. IRG Super Licenses last for 24 months before needing renewed. Drivers may opt to renew yearly.
V. Penalty Review Board
V.a. Actions

  1. The Penalty Review Board (PRB) is the law enforcement of the IRG, which issues out all of the technical regulations, reviews replays, hands out penalties, and determines track suitability.
  2. As such, any regulation changes must be approved by the six member board. Any changes made must wait a full month before being implemented.
V.b. List Of Illegal Race Actions And Consequences
  1. At the right of the Penalty Review Board, actions can be added to this list at any time.
  2. However, if an action is listed in way of reaction to an event, that event will not be punishable.

VI. Safety Car System
VI.a. Purpose and Duration

  1. Each race will follow a safety car system that will neutralize the race field in the event of an incident.
  2. Safety car periods, commonly called out as cautions, are to allow for the track to be cleared, for the field to rebundle, and to recollect competition that may have been affected by incidents.
  3. Safety car periods are to last only three laps unless another accident occurs during that safety car period, in which case it will become six laps at a speed of 75 miles per hour on ovals and 62 miles per hour on road courses. (Exceptions may vary)
VI.b. Requirements For Safety Car Period
  1. The most common way for a safety car period to be launched is by a collision between two drivers, leaving both very unstable at minimal pace (100 miles per hour).
  2. Another way for safety car periods to be brought out is if debris has somehow been brought onto the racing surface. If this is the case, the safety car period will be called, and drivers will have to attempt to force the debris off the surface by way of hitting it directly, sideswiping it or any other possible physical contact with that object. If a driver steps out of position to handle the debris, that driver is entitled to their position back.
  3. If scoring has been compromised mid race, a safety car can be called to sort out the issues.
  4. If a restart has been botched and an accident occurs, the safety car period will be extended.
VI.c. Protocol For Safety Car Periods
  1. As a safety car period is called, the field will race to the nearest scoring loop (sector) in relation to the race leader. Wounded cars, if any, are permitted to be passed beyond this point up until the start of the first full safety car lap
  2. Until the field starts the full caution lap, pit lane is closed. Drivers that pit before these conditions apply will be forced to start in the rear of the field.
  3. A "Lucky Dog" or free pass system will be implemented to allow the first car not on the lead lap to get a wave around to rejoin the field. This will occur after the field has passed the exit to pit lane. That driver may not pit once he/she has received this instruction and must immediately refile behind the last lead lap car ahead of them.
  4. The field one lap down or more can receive a wave around if the entire field on the lead lap pits, including the free pass recipient. However, they must maintain pace speed until the start of the third lap in which they can speed back around carefully to rejoin the field for the restart.
  5. Pit lane will be open for the first two laps, then close on the third and final safety car lap. Depending on which type of track the race is held on will depend on how VI.d. is carried out.
VI.d. Restart Procedures
  1. On high speed oval tracks, notably Indianapolis, Daytona, Motegi, and High Speed Ring, the field will undergo a rolling restart controlled by the race leader. (All ovals will undergo a single file rolling restart.)
  2. On road courses, the field will reline up on the starting grid in the positions that they are in, and the race will restart under a time as advised by the race director. The time will be posted in this manner [Hour]:[Minute]:[Second] or example 01:15:30.000
  3. If an accident occurs before the race leader reaches turn 1 of the track, the safety car will be redeployed immediately and classified as a botched start.
VI.e. Requirements For An IRG Safety Car Official
  1. IRG Safety Car Officials will hold absolute in race authority over all drivers regardless of their political status within IRG.
  2. All Safety Car Officials must have all rules with them at all times to ensure that no in race missteps are made.
  3. At the approval of either the IRG Executive, the PRB Director of Competition, or the series promoter, the Safety Car Official will be also awarded the title of Race Director, able to hand out in race penalties as protocol allows.
  4. Safety Car Drivers cannot be a part of multi car teams if they are competitors, and must have a microphone.
  5. All safety car officals must have the BMW M4 Coupe safety car.
  6. Along with the drivers, the Safety Car Official/Race Director must also attend the pre race drivers meeting to keep tabs on any particular notes.
VI.f. Actions Allowed By Safety Car Official
  1. The Safety Car Official holds absolute race penalty power during the event. If the SCO feels a penalty is necessary. He can choose from a variety of in race penalties to use as punishment from drive through penalty, starting at the rear of restart, or parking the car (under extreme circumstances.
  2. The in race penalties given by the SCO CAN NOT be appealed, as there is no way to reverse them. Drivers can ask for the IRG PRB to take a look into the incident and ask for their guidance.
  3. The SCO has an absolutely important role in keeping the race in line to prevent chaos. Failure to completely do this job will result in a thorough IRG investigation, and will most likey bring harsh penalties on whoever was involved.
VII. Race Weekend Procedure
VII.a. Opening Practice

  1. Each race weekend will open with a day of open practice for all drivers to attend. During this time, drivers can work on race setups, strategy, as well as qualifying preparations.
  2. The day of opening practice will contain two 3 hour sessions with a 2 hour break in between them.
  3. During this session, the fastest time lap time will be used to determine the 107% mark for qualifying.
VII.b. Qualifying Day
  1. On the second day of the weekend, qualifying will be held. Drivers will need to make a four lap attempt with their average determining the starting grid.
  2. During the day, warm up sessions will not be held, nor will a practice session. The day is dedicated to nothing but qualifying attempts. Any extra practice will have to be done away from the sanctioned room.
  3. All drivers get one attempt to qualify. Drivers who disconnect will have a redemption chance to redo their incomplete attempt.
  4. Qualifying will be open for 4 hours in the afternoon.
  5. Once qualifying results are known, drivers will be able to make their pit box selection, which will determine the order they enter the room.
VII.c. Race Day Procedures
  1. The race day room will start with the room opening up by the host. Drivers will then be allowed to come in based on their pit selection order
  2. Pre race ceremony will then take place, starting with the playing of the national anthem of the country the race venue is in. Then, the drivers will do a three lap run to organize their starting positions.
  3. The race will start under safety car for a warm up lap, which will end with the field taking the official green flag in a two abreast or three abreast start at the start/finish line.
VII.d. Room Hosting Procedures
  1. For practice and qualifying, the room will be hosted by the race director.
  2. For race day, the room will be hosted by a selection of trustworthy people capable of hosting fixed host rooms that are sturdy enough to contain 16 people.
  3. These selected individuals will alternate weeks to host, and will claim the first pit stall when they host by default.
  4. Room hosts must be of North American base to avoid massive issues between host and drivers.
  5. Room hosts must follow the advisory and guidance of the race director at all times.
VII.e. Livestreaming Events (2016 Planned)
  1. When possible, the 16th slot in the room will go to a person not in the race to relay the race live to commentators that will be present during the race and pre race events.
  2. Branded as IRG TV Network, the channel will be available on YouTube for both the livestream and the replay of the race.
  3. Each broadcast will have up to three commentators covering all of the on track action and off track stories.
VIII. Schedule Organizing
VIII.a. Schedule Profile

  1. The Turtle Beach IndyCar Series has a specific schedule makeup that must be adhered to.
  2. The primary rule for making the calendar is that the Indianapolis 500 remains as the centerpiece of the calendar and has it's adequate preparation time,
  3. Another requirement is that each race has at least a week in between them. This will allow for flexibility with other series as well as downtime.
  4. Tracks included on the calendar must be placed in relation to where they are in the world and must be flowing.
  5. All tracks included on the calendar must be approved by the Penalty Review Board.
  6. No tracks created by anyone by means of Course Creator or GPS Route Visualizer will be permitted to be used.
VIII.b. Schedule Limitations
  1. The racing calendar cannot include more than 20 races per year.
  2. Racing must come to a complete end by October 31 of each year.
  3. Points racing cannot occur before February 1 of each year.
VIII.c. Mid-Season Testing
  1. If scheduled, only three mid-season tests are permitted to take place in a season.
  2. Mid-Season Tests cannot take place at venues hosting races in the season.
  3. All teams are permitted to take part in the test at any time of the test.
  4. Mid-Season tests are three hour sessions, open to an unlimited amount of free runs. These tests can also be used to give new drivers the ability to do license tests or find teams to join.
IX. Indianapolis 500 Organization
IX.a. Free Practice Sessions

  1. Free practice sessions will be held before and after all qualifying days.
  2. Free practice sessions are two hour sessions accessible to all drivers from all teams. No last minute drivers will be accepted once FP1 has started.
  3. A total of seven free practice sessions will be permitted during Indianapolis 500 preparations, three before Pole Day Qualifying and four after Bump Day Qualifying.
IX.b. Pole Day Qualifying
  1. Pole Day Qualifying will take place over two days to determine the first six starting positions for the race.
  2. For Pole Day Qualifying, all drivers get one 4 lap attempt to get the best 4 lap average they can.
  3. During Pole Day Qualifying, the room will only be big enough for two people. This is for a secrecy rule. Pole Day times will not be published until the end of Pole Day Qualifying, making it impossible to influence drivers to run.

X. Points Systems
X.a. Driver's Championship Points System

  1. Points are awarded on the following basis; 1st-50 2nd-40 3rd-35 4th-32 5th-30 6th-28 7th-26 8th-24 9th-22 10th-20 11th-19 12th-18 13th-17 14th-16 15th-15
  2. Drivers that failed to make it into the race will receive points based on qualifying position; 16th-14 17th-13 18th-12 19th-11 20th-10 21st-9 22nd-8 23rd-7 24th-6 25th to 33rd-5
  3. All drivers 34th and lower will receive one point.
  4. Bonus points will also be added to those that have accomplished the following; 1 point for pole position, one point for leading a lap, and 2 points for leading the most laps.
  5. All ovals will be double points for the drivers.
X.b. Team's Championship Points System
  1. Following each race, the best driver from each team participating will contribute to their team's Points total.
  2. For teams with multiple drivers, this will be determined by the driver that finishes highest in each individual race, meaning all drivers of that team can contribute to the total.
  3. Only the standard points for that position and the point for pole position count towards the team's total.
  4. Teams that participate in the following year will be able to choose their car color and engine based on their championship finish.
X.c. Engine Championship Points System
  1. Engine manufacturers will earn points based on the best finisher of that engine in each individual race.
  2. All points earned by the drivers per race will count to this championship.
X.d. Penalty Points System
  1. Penalty Points are points that are added to a driver's IRG license and as well deducted from a driver's championship points total.
  2. Penalty Points are given in the case of a severe breakage of rules, such as a very disruptive, widespread, or deliberate collision with another driver, as well as any technical regulation breakage.
  3. Once a driver has received 10 penalty points on their license, they will face a one race suspension, 50 point championship deduction, and will return with 6 points on their license to discourage further malicious actions.
XI. Media/Picture Display
XI.a. Criteria for Self Taken Images to be Displayed by IRG

  1. The International Racing Group, its subsidiary racing series, and its media hubs will not produce driver action shots of drivers wearing race uniforms from real life drivers.
  2. IRG will not publish action shots that have the effects of color filters. We expect action shots to contain the actual color range found in game.
  3. IRG will not produce photoshopped or otherwise unjustly altered images for display.
XI.b. IRG Criteria for Official Photographers
  1. All IRG photographers must provide clear, unfiltered shots of the race and actions that would be able to explain an event on its own or an event without rational explanation.
  2. Action photos must not be focused on one specific driver, but an entire scene.

Nice work Angel :D

Looking forward to the FGT Championship a lot! I'm going to get my colour choice in early ;)

I should mention that I'll have to miss some races as I'll be on holiday from Feb 14th to March 16th. If there's anything I can help with in the mean time, let me know.

Thanks Tay. I'm pretty excited too! I held AUEC's Champ Car Series last year so this will definitely be fun. Still needing to look for a teammate and car color, but there's still two months. I'll e-mail Hardy that you'll miss. Enjoy your holiday!

I also need to update redbullrider20's info. He isn't an actual power holder, he's a safety official.

Yes I am just a Safety Car and (sometimes) a "flag man". As well, could you please update my team name to "Moto Star Online Racing Team"? Thanks!

Will do as soon as I get home.

To clarify a little bit of confusion on cshardy62096's suspension, it in all appearance is likely an IP ban, which effectively means that unless he decides to buy a new computer, he will remain out of GTPlanet operations for the forseeable future. As for what caused the ban, it had nothing to do with his thread populating. It was an apparent altercation between him an a few different elite members of the site. I urge all AUEC members not to ask questions and carry on dutifully with their operations in and out of AUEC. Furthermore, AUEC's Board of Competition and Board of Directors are due to make a vote of confidence on 12 February. I will post those results when I update the thread material on 13 February. Thank you for your continued feedback and participation.

Thread information has been updated for the week of 3 February 2014.

#29 of trobes29 wins the X2014 Junior Non Tune Championship round at Willow Springs International Raceway Park. #99 of ArsenalKid1990 finished second and #33 of StealthWarfighter finished third to round out the podium.

Yeah, but probably not on schedule. Haha

Tay, to further respond to your question, we also received an ice storm. That might have had a role.

I'm happy to announce that the FGT World Championship will host its races on Saturdays at 12:00 p.m. (GMT -5). Furthermore. The schedule has been selected, and is being organized for release. AUEC is now formally accepting team entries as well as free agent entries that will be assigned to teams. Schedule release is slated for 15 February 2014.

Thread update this afternoon before the TEC 500km of Willow Springs. I plan on including the following:
->Formula Gran Turismo World Championship preliminary schedule
->Formula Gran Turismo World Championship current teams grid
->Updated AUEC member list
->Official theme/anthem for each championship
->Board section to be revealed completely 20 February
->Full X2014 Junior Non Tune Championship calendar
->Reopening the GTPlanet recruiting for ALL AUEC championships
->Adding personnel contact details for central officials
I'll be reaching out to people for further information. Thank you.

A mistake I just found will also be corrected this afternoon. The dates for the races between the 1,000km of Nürburg and the 500km of Sydney are all off.

Can I get some clarification on the TEC race time please? I thought we were to be in the lobby by 7pm EST (12am GMT) but over an hour has passed and I've had no reply from Hardy who is still set to 'away' on PSN. Thanks.

I have no idea what happened tonight. Hardy will have to clear it up to everyone. That is the official standard. I just don't know what happened tonight.

It was no problem, Hardy sacrificed his race to act as pace car so that more than makes up for the delay.

It was quite a funny race, verging on embarrassing on my part haha ...I was falling asleep at the wheel and my TV brightness was so low that I couldn't see a thing when the sun started going down. Sorry to anyone that I met on track for the last half of the race. I'll plan better next time.

The race yesterday was more of an unorganized problem. Hardy knew about the safety car issue, but didn't address it properly. It's a good thing he was there to officiate it personally.

From what I heard, you did great for being half asleep.

Did those brights work better @TayTheDay? And to be honest for as late as it was for you I am surprised you even stayed! Hopefully I'll see you at Le Mans!

Okay, so Hardy's opened the entry list size to 56 entries. Any bets to how empty it will be?

While cshardy62096 gathers AUEC members votes on the final championship slot for 2015, (why we're doing this now, I have no idea, but humor me) I'll gather the opinion of everyone else. What discipline would interest you to race in AUEC in 2015? There's a ton to choose from. TEC, KZ2 karts (S125), and Touring Cars are already in, leaving Formula GT, X2014 list, NASCAR, Rally, LCC Rocket, Electric (Prius TC), and others. AUEC still has an effective ban on Tougé, D1, and drag racing. Go ahead and humor me, please. You could heavily influence the balance of power in 2015 and beyond.

Let's see how the FGT series goes, that's the one that sticks out for me. The cars are great. Maybe we'll have some new content by then that will be fun to compete in. With there being no McLaren models in F1 2013 classic edition because of the Senna tie in with GT6, I was hoping we'd get the MP4/4 or some other F1 content. I can only dream...

Really, the Senna issue is because Codemasters was trying to use the name with paying royalties. But I'm excited for the FGT World Championship too.

Another small update to the thread. Biggest changes are:
->Addition of the KZ2 World Karting Championship section to the thread.
->Updated FGT World Championship teams table.
->Small extension of the X2014 Junior NTC Calendar to the TEC 2,000km of Le Mans weekend.

After the 500km of Monterey, #29 of trobes29 leads PC Class points with 140, and #96 of cshardy62096 leads GT Class points with 129. Next TEC event is open practice on Friday, February 21 at Mount Panorama Motor Racing Circuit.

X2014 Junior NTC will be racing Monday, February 17 at Deep Forest Raceway. #29 of trobes29 leads the championship with 2 wins and 50 points.

The FGT World Championship will launch its 2014 team recruiting on Thursday, February 20. Four teams have applied out of 16 team spots.

Total Endurance Championship: Hold Your Colour by Pendulum
X2014 Junior Non Tune Championship: Dark Matter by Feathers
Formula Gran Turismo World Championship: Don't Come Close by Yeasayer
