Posting this again just to have it in the same post:
So this is the car that is supposedly a flat plane V8. It makes me curious. To me it doesn't sound like a flat plane. However, it is possible to make a cross-plane V8 sound like a flat-plane V8 with crossover, 180 degree headers. Like this:
I'm still skeptical about Ford doing a flat plane, but if they were to do it, I can understand it not wanting to sound like one. It wouldn't sound like a Mustang. Perhaps they put 90* crossover type headers on it, to make it sound like a 90* V8?
