About the millionth time we've heard that referring to Ford's current grill style.

And it's still true.

Though it's not a nearly as derivative as the Evos, if nothing else. Need to see the whole thing to make a judgement on how well the front fits.

If it was really as big a deal as everyone makes it out to be, I would think Aston would have said something. So unless I missed it, everyone is over reacting.
Are they saying its a bad thing? I think it's great myself. But then, I don't think it looks like an Aston grille because its all in the details.

I agree. I don't see an Aston Martin grille, and I don't think that the Fusiondeo looks like an Aston.

I don't think the Fusiondeo looks like a Ford, either. It positively screams for attention in a parking lot in a way that doesn't line up with what kind of car it is. It's kinda like the Probe -- it turns your head every time, and you're disappointed every time.

I think its a better car than to be compared to a disappointing Probe. Should it be a plan and forgetable car since its a inexpesive mid size sedan?

I admitt that it does turn your head, but it's also, in my opinion, very poorly proportioned, so it's actually kind of ugly.

I think the Focus or C Max version of that grill looks more aston esque, but I doubt it will look like it on a full size sports car like a mustang. I'm sure it will be like the Fusion and if it is I'd like it.

EDIT:

Now seeing it, it does look very much like a sports car version of the fusion with mustang pieces from 2013-14, I like it but want to see more to love it.

@Badasp5.0: The Fusion doesn't have to be bland and forgettable, it just strikes me is like an oversized, blown-up version of today's youthful subcompacts with exciting styling. Like Beeblebrox said, it's poorly proportioned, so it's loud and fat at the same time.

I don't like to do this, but..

Looks like a Ford Fusion with a mustang badge. I don't like it.

I got ridiculed for prejudging it earlier but I called it.

As said above by others, it looks a bit disproportioned and I don't like it. It's not really bad, don't get me wrong, but it's far from what I was hoping for.

It just doesn't look like a Mustang to me. Reminds me of modern day Lancias.

So its Honey Boo Boo?

It is poorly proportioned but the only midsize sedan that has that right is the new 6. Even with the Ford having a slightly awkward shape I still think it looks more exciting than any of the others. Same with the MKZ and CTS - two very different cars but the MKZ has rad, unexpected style on lock.
