I doubt they will go backwards in engine technology. The coyote is a great engine so far as I could tell while I had mine.
Exactly which is why I said it's kind of pointless to develop any other engine, of any kind.

What if Polyphony is keeping it under wraps that there will be a simultaneous real-life and GT6-based unveiling of the Mustang, then the game will come out the day after and include the new Mustang. That'd be cool I guess.

That would be interesting but the 4.6L V8 displaced 281ci so that was close enough. Plus the original 302 was just a stroked 289 engine, which was "revived" in name with the Coyote 5.0.

If anything, something similar to the Cleveland engines would be ideal. Small package, low weight, big power, decenty fuel economy. Kind of like the LS engines (the LS1 was very similar to the 351C anyways). Right now, the Coyote engines are doing great and I don't see them going anywhere any time soon (because less face it, it's a new design that's holding it's own right now and a new engine would be pointless right now). Maybe in a few years. It would be cool to see a new Ford pushrod engine but they are so far advanced with the modular engines that designing a completely new engine would be dumb. It would be interesting to see an old engine turned modern though.

What do you mean? 454, 400, 396? Those are all far too big I'd say a nimble smaller V8 I'd say is best. I don't think an LS1 is good they already have the 5.0 which I'd say is just as good if not better really. This is coming from a Chevy lover too...

I mean like if Ford came up with a new pushrod engine (kind of how Chevy still uses pushrod engines like the LS series) and then displaced it the same as other big Mustang engines.

I was just an idea, but one that would more than likely never happen.

I think it will have traits of the old and the new and following on like chevrolet has done with the camaro. Softer, im gonna say this but more European. Possible going globally too as read somewhere that its coming to britain with a 2.0T eco boost 4cyl. But has the presents of a snarling v8. Good for us as tax is crap over here.

Orange is sexy on 'Stangs...

When are you releasing it? The day of the actual car release or sooner?

Dunno. They might post it a day or two after release, or until the mag hits the streets. When they post it, I can post it.

Shame you can't post it now, with the anonymity of the internet and all.

People how would you like orange again for a GT500 color? Cuz' that's the color I'm doing mah photoshop of it!

Orange mustangs make me think of this one:

I would be shocked if they did. I swear PD has a thing against and Mustangs in general.

If it looks like this, just like the camaro, its lost its mustangness. Looks like a mondeo coupe, this is more like Capri than a mustang.
