Last year it was the top 28 for US, it ended up going down into the 40s range because of people turning it down or being ineligible. I missed the top 28 by .7 and I missed finals by less than that, I was 81st.

Oh ok it was the top 28 thanks for the correction. I was 56th last year but I was also underage so it wouldn't have mattered if I was even close to the top 28.

Let's make a list of people that are trying to win. I have to pick up the pace... lol

I'm just trying to see where I stack up. I would like to go to the national finals but I have commitments with college. Still going to be trying to get within the 26 sec range though.

This list will have people who plan to attend if they make the cut list and people who's in top20 but are non gtplanet members so we need to reach out to these few and ask them over psn of they plan to attend

Well that's just my guess that my guess is based off of it people keep geting faster times if no spots will change with in next few days I say the cut could be .6/.7

As we speak the cut off just bumped down to 24th with a time of 3:27.714

The rules say a forfeited prize will not go to someone else. I think that means you will need to be in the top 20. Except for those that are not eligible (too young, out of country). That is my interpretation anyway, do you guys still think if someone forfeits they would ask the next person on the list?

That's not what it means your reading it wrong, what it means if you back out and chose not to attend it goes to next person on line I would know as I've been to national before

I race with Burner... hes not a GTA finalist as far as I know and I think he is over 18.


I'm about 1.5 seconds out of the top 20 right now... in the low 29's... but have found time each time I boot up GT6. As long as the top guys don't get into the 24's I might squeak in.

Wolf aono might get a 24. Lol I dont think any US drivers will get a 24 though.

Just checked... he is in the '24's.

I'm currently 65th with a 3:29.277... but I know there is at least 1.5 sec of theoretical laptime I have left... that would put me 17th.

So how does this work past the virtual stage... this is the first time I have taken a serious crack at GTA.

Hey I am in 17th... (-_-) lol I have a theoretical gain of 0.3-0.4 but it will take me about 30 hours to get. Lol!
