Now at 3:26.478! Ranked 5th at the time of setting it. That might be enough to get into the finals, so I'm pretty happy about that. Still room for improvement, though, since I actually lost 0.2 seconds in the first sector on that lap (compared to my previous best lap, that is).

Killer lap! I managed a 3.26.669 last night (8th) and judging by the current rate people are jumping up, it's very hard to say that will even be enough for finals.

Everyone that has been lurking around in the top 40.

I dropped from 11th to 20th in one day.

At this rate, i predict the cut off being in the 26.3s

Sadly, I dont disagree. But judging by how wrong previous predictions have been. It gives scary thoughts that the cut off could be 25.9s lol. I dropped from 7th to 8th at about 9pm PST/12Est then I dropped to 9th at about 2am PST /5 am EST

And btw, Japan is OP. :) they have 3 3:24s. :drool:

Edit does anyone know anything about the BMI limits for GTAcademy? I remember reading something somewhere for safety reasons something I don't remember. My BMI fluctuates from 17.7 to 18.4 and less than 18.5 is considered underweight.

Well the cutoff is now a 26.882. I predict it getting much lower but I seriously doubt it will get into the 25s. In the last 4 days, outlaw has only dropped 3 spots. There is a lot of shuffling going on in the 10-20 range, which usually happens, but the top 10 have stayed fairly firm for the first week.

At the Nationals you get a brief examination by a doctor. They will go over a few things during the examination, but BMI isnt one of them.


And my BMI says im overweight... which isnt true.... :grumpy:

Apparently normal weight for 6 foot 3 is 148-199 LBs according to BMI. lol

I disagree about the shuffling. On Saturday I dropped from 13th to 16th. On Sunday I dropped from 16th to 30th... Tonight I got up to 7th, and in the past 8 hours I have dropped to 9th... I think one of them was you actually, lol. :)

That's definitely going to happen. You can't really go by how much you dropped last week though. It was still very early in the comp. There will always be much larger pushes on the weekends and especially on the last day of the whole thing.

I very seriously doubt it, but you never know. This weekend is going to be insane with people trying to get as much time shaved as they can. It's going to be impossible to predict the cutoff until probably Monday morning.

Yeah figured early on im safe but still have a personal goal time id like to hit before I stop. Gt academy prep race club will be created to night :sly:
