Games for this weekend.

Saturday
Crystal Palace v Southampton
Man City v Chelsea (12.30 Sky)
Stoke v Burnley
Sunderland v Leicester
Tottenham v Swansea
West Brom v Watford
West Ham v Arsenal (5.30 BT)

Sunday
Bournemouth v Liverpool (1.30 Sky)
Everton v Man United (4pm Sky)

Monday Night
Middlesbrough v Hull (8pm Sky)

City v Chelsea is the stand out this week but Sunday looks pretty good, Also tomorrow is El Clasico between Barcelona and Real Madrid at 5.30pm on Sky, all PL teams will wear black armbands out of respect for the victims of the Chapecoense plane crash.

Another big revelation in the abuse scandal today, which is former Chelsea player Gary Johnson saying he was abused at the hands of their then chief scout Eddie Heath (who is now dead) in the 70's, he also claims Chelsea gave him 50k to keep quiet about it last year, the club say they are investigating, this comes as 17 police forces are now investigating abuse claims and the NSPCC helpline has received 860 calls since it opened last week.

Celtic losing 2-0 at Half time.

...bring it back to 2-2 in the 71st minute, Motherwell make it 3-2 in the 72nd minute, Celtic make it 3-3 in the 73rd minute.

...then a winner in the 91st minute by Mr Tam Rogic.

Best game of football I've watched in 2016.

The Clasico will be on Sky from 5.15pm in the UK, so it will be either a 5.15, 5.30, 5.45 or a 6pm kick off our time.

Also Chelsea beat City 1-3, goals from Costa, Willian and Hazard with Cahill with an own goal, City had Aguero sent off for a very bad challenge on Luiz in the dying minutes and Fernando sent off in the subsquent pushing and shoving when he pushed Fabregas into the crowd (no that actually happened!) City really lost their heads at the end.

Edit, scrap that about the Clasico Kickoff times, it is actually on now!, it must be highlights later....

Aguero and Fernandinho sent off deep into extra time, the former for chopping David Luiz down and the latter for shoving Fabregas over an advertising hoarding. Man City are going to have a long and hard December.

It was all downhill after De Bruyne missed that open goal off the crossbar. I had Bravo going as well on my fantasy team and he was not good today either.

So Swansea had a good win against Palace last week and i hoped that it would kick start our season, but now we are getting a hammering from Spurs 3-0 and the second half has only just started!:indiff:

0-0 in the Clasico at half time..

Has a top flight English team ever been relegated following a championship season? Because Leicester look like they will be fighting all year to get out of the Premier League basement.

Crystal Palace winning 3-0 against the Saints.

Sunderland win 2-1 against Leicester.

Montpellier are leading 1-0 against PSG....

:dunce:

Preston were down to nine men in the Championship after Beckford and Doyle were sent off for fighting....each other!

Preston North End had two players sent off in injury time, after some bizarre incident between the two of them...

We'd earlier had our goalscorer Forestieri sent off (for being a bell end, again), made two substitutions due to injury, gone 2-0 up after a penalty, been pegged back to 2-1 while down to nine men due to injury and made another injury-prompted substitution - and one of the two players sent of for Preston was THEIR goalscorer...

Manchester City in 1937-1938.

Finished 1-1 in the Clasico, Suarez and a late equaliser from Ramos, Barcelona now six points behind at the top.

West Brom are currently sitting 6th, I never really noticed them climbing like that. Have the Ham and Brom's swapped squads or something?

I'm guessing that the reason for the confusion about the kick-off time is that no UK broadcaster is legally allowed to show a live football match between 3 and 5 pm, hence why Sky always have games at lunchtime or after 5 pm on Saturday, and all day Sunday etc. That also explains why pubs that show live games on a Saturday afternoon show the games on some dodgy European or Middle Eastern satellite channel...

In other El Clasico-related news, it would appear that several Real Madrid players including Cristiano Ronaldo are being implicated in a tax evasion scheme after a Wikileaks-style leak of documents...

Rumour has it that Ronaldo used shell companies in the British Virgin Islands to hide money from the tax authorities which ended up in his Swiss bank account. The leaks implied that many other clients of Jorge Mendes had used the same scheme.

I'm quite please that Ramos once again scored a late header to get a good result...

However i'm also still fuming that Vazquez didn't get a penalty after 2-3 minutes. Just horrendous refereeing both ways today.

Too big to go to jail. Just look at the Barca tax dodgers.

That's always irritated me. Why can some guy in the middle east watch every Man Utd game on TV but me sat here in the same country not being able to. I get the whole trying to get people to go to the games but I'm not made of money so I'd rather spend 50 on all the premier league games for a month rather than that plus a lot more to see Man Utd for just one of them games in the month.

Re: Preston:
Doyle and Beckford came to blows after the Irishman failed to play Beckford in as North End looked for an equaliser.
Ridiculous!

I knew we were doomed as soon as I was told we were 2 nil up at half time. We always do better if I don't know the result until the end.

Love the man! 3 great goals and an assist and his work-rates are just immense. Also, happy for Gabriel to get back into the team again but playing as a right back.

Time for Juve Vs. Atalanta now. 5 points are what separates both teams and Roma is hot on the heels of Juve.

So many red cards in the Championship this weekend. One for QPR first of all on Thursday, then one for Birmingham, one for Brighton, two for Newcastle, three at Hillsborough (one for us, two for Preston)...

Eight in twelve games! The Red Weekend?

9 even, Williams was sent off for Reading yesterday. Must be some tempers flaring this weekend.
Crikey, I missed that one. Wonder if there's a new referee directive, or just people wanting to be suspended for Christmas
