Brilliant win for Swansea, beat Sunderland 3-0 and now out of the relegation zone 👍👍

Bags of goals today, with most of the teams scoring 3.

Leicester v Man City on now

Edit, Leicester are 2-0 up inside 10 minutes! Vardy and a beauty from King, defensively City are a shambles!

Make that 3-0 after 20 minutes.

Can't believe how effective Leicester have been, but City is getting back in the game. Closer and closer to a goal now.

Cardiff's Sol Bamba was went off earlier for foul and abusive language, as he went off he tried to fight the 4th official, his clubs physio and his manager Neil Warnock!

Ramos with yet another 90+ minute winner/important golaso!!!:D:D:D:D:D

Whole team looked so bad today, but with 8 changes from last game, it was meant to happen. Still got away with the win on a very bad day performance wise and top of the league with 6 points still.

The Stade De Nice wasn't built in 2016 but you might be getting it confused with the Parc Lyonnais.
No I said it was built for Euro 2016 I didn't say it was built in 2016.

Usually they get made a year or two before the tournament begins, the Big 3 in Portugal all had Upgraded stadiums before the Euro 2004 championship as well but their stadiums where made in 2003.

Lyons stadium Came quite late but that one was more of their own clubs construction, Nice on the other hand don't own the stadium.

So? The Stade De Nice was originally planned to be built before 2008 but with financial problems it was completed by 2013 so clearly it was not meant to built for the EURO 2016 as the hosts of the tournaments were only announced in 2010.

Getting back to the point of how Nice are gaining their success. Lucien Favre bringing Dante to Nice was vital who both had a great relationship back at Monchengladbach, Dante has been a rock in defense and he has exceptional vision for a defender where he has been a great asset to both defence and attakers plus with Belhanda who has major experience of success in France especially during the 2011-12 season with Montpellier and a very good stint with Schalke last season has been a catalyst for most of the attacking plays and we know about Balotelli making the headlines but in my opinion Plea should be primary focus for why they are in that position.

True but false, the stadium wasn't going to get built, but once France won the Euro 2016 bid that saved the stadium project.

The project completely changed though and the location and design of the stadium where changed from the original.

38 people were killed last night in Turkey by twin blasts outside The Vodafone Arena, the new home of Besiktas :(

Not yet, its actually risen to 39 since that post, with around 50 injured, there were very few supporters around and the blasts were more aimed at the police.

United 1-0 up v Spurs through Mkhitaryan. 👍

Chelsea beat WBA 1-0 earlier

I've not paid too much attention to West Ham, but they're much further down than they should be. Why are they struggling so much this season?

So there are Premier League game is mid-week this week i was going to post the fixtures right here, but it will wait for tomorrow, the reason? the Balon D'or ceremony is tonight, who's going to win?!, its got to be Ronaldo surely!

Edit, Cristiano Ronaldo has won the Balon D'or for a fourth time

So here are the mid-week Premier League games

Tonight
Bournemouth v Leicester
Everton v Arsenal (7.45 BT)

Wednesday Night
Crystal Palace v Man United (8pm BT)
Middlesbrough v Liverpool
Stoke v Southampton
Sunderland v Chelsea
Tottenham v Hull
West Brom v Swansea
West Ham v Burnley

There are also Championship games on tonight as well with Norwich v Aston Villa on Sky as part of their 10 in 10.

Man City have been fined £35,000 and Chelsea £100,000 for failing to control their players during their game a couple of weeks, Chelsea's fine seems hefty but if you believe reports then they could've got a points deduction.

I think Chelsea's fine was big because they keep getting involved in stuff like this. Weather the FA would actually give them a points deduction is questionable, IMO.

All the players involved should have been fined too. I don't see how the club can be held completely responsible for the player's actions as it was the players who decided to steam in and cause the fracas. The club didn't tell them to.

Considering Chelsea's wage bill for their top players alone is over £2,100,000 a week, a £100,000 fine is not exactly a 'hefty' fine IMO. It wouldn't even be too much of a punishment for Eden Hazard himself, given that £100,000 equates to about 3.5 days pay.

Indeed. Fines like this are completely useless.

Deduct points or let them play in an empty stadium or something.

That must be the case because I was watching the end of that Chelsea v. Man City game when it all happened and it was entirely instigated by Man City and Aguero's challenge on David Luis. Fernandinho had his hand on Pedro's throat and pushed him over an ad sign too. If they were giving out fines just based on what happened in that game, it should have been City getting the larger fine.

The end of the Everton v Arsenal game was mad, amazing how neither of them didn't grab another goal.

Also, a shame Mkhi will miss the next few games after the good run he's had, looked very good since having regular starts for Man UTD.
