Yeah so inferior that they won because their car didn't die.

They got LUCKY, nothing else. Don't get all smart about it bruh. You didn't WIN this one, Toyota just LOST it.

Have to agree. At the end of the day, Porsche won and no one can take that away from them. Congratulations Stuttgart!

Well, they LOST, 99.999% of the way they lost, then a freak incident (I have my own conspiracy theory here), and BAM! they win in the last .001% of the race. LOL

Enjoy your hollow, handed-down victory 👎.

EXACTLY. Everyone will say and feel that they didn't REALLY win it. And then next year, we'll get em! haha, like I crew for TG or something.

I don't care if it's Porsche's fault, or if Porsche worked hard. They didn't deserve it as much as Toyota, Porsche already had 17 wins, Audi's wins have to be added too for the god damn VAG.

I really hope Toyota will finally enter with three cars, or four and dominate this race as they should.
Screw any VAG win, they collected so many because of bending rules and destroying other teams' chances.

This. So much this.

So you think it is right that they got a stop/go penalty for a ACO supplied lightbulb failure? Half the field ran thru the night w/o RHD lights and leader lights that worked and none of them received a penalty.

So basically it boils down to you just being annoyed at who has been at the top several times, and this just isn't fair? If you didn't catch it before welcome to Le Mans. If the car failed them it failed them, the only case I see right now as an injustice to the race is if the 82 gets disqualified

What teams did they destroy? P1 is like F1, Toyota has had aero that too has been claimed as a violation and allowed to race, so your argument doesn't hold water. I'm sorry they lost, but we shouldn't argue based on emotional investment.

:gtpflag:PORSCHE!!!

Race is race, toyota malfunction was just in time :gtpflag:

I was beside myself with joy when Porsche returned to le mans in 2014. I was overjoyed when they took the crown from Audi last year. But today is just sad. To watch someone be robbed, not only of a race victory, but to be disqualified as well. Porsches 18th victory at le mans will forever stand as a hollow victory in my book.

One has to wonder what is going on in the heads at Toyota after 4 years of spending so much money into a project that hasn't brought frutition.

Somewhere I feel it's the same as their F1 story...

It seems a bit sour of pinning the fault of Toyota on Porsche. If you were in Porsche's shoes then you aren't exactly say to just let the Toyota's through because they deserve this more than us, a lot of effort by individuals and investment goes into each car and it is only rewarded by victories.

Wow. Some of you people really don't know how to pick the "right" one for your hate, do you?
First Ford get's all the hate, because the ACO couldn't get the BoP right and because something broke on the Ferrari with less than 30 minutes to go.
And now Porsche get's all the hate, because the leading Toyota broke down with less than 5 minutes to go.

That's some great sportsmanship some of you guys show here. Hating on teams who did nothing wrong and just kept working hard till the checkered flag and all just because your favourites got into problems.

Boo-****ing-hoo. Porsche won and Toyota lost. Just because you don't like the outcome doesn't mean you get to change the definition of how things transpired.

2nd isn't too bad, hard to swallow but not bad. And they had the World Championship title the other year so it isn't all for naught.

That doesn't mean Toyota deserves it.

I'm totally fine with Porsche winning like this, it means the Toyota couldn't survive the 24 Hours therefore Porsche are the rightful winners.
A 24 hour race is more than just the 24 hours in the race itself. I don't care if anyone disagrees with me, I don't care if I look like an arse, Porsche won with sheer luck, not with performance, again. Toyota lost with a stupid defect for the 4th time, this is not fair and I will say it as often as I want.

This will be a race to remember. I'm still shocked, and feel bad for Toyota. But congrats to Porsche on their win, and for being near the leader in the end, when they ran into problems.

I couldn't watch after the race finished... just the image of the faces in the Toyota garage, that realization of it being taken away so cruelly. I ain't a Toyota fan, but damn. That's some highly emotional stuff and something that will stay with me forever.

Agreed. Some pretty shameful comments being made on here.

no one, and I really really want to remark this, no-freaking-one handed the victory to Porsche.

This. Both Porsche and Toyota made a great effort, and thats because all the Porsche team celebrates vicotory, because that effort paid off. To win first you have to end, and the Toyota didn't. It wasn't as if a Porsche crashed into the Toyota or something like this, or if Porsche is making fun of the Toyota team. Respect to Both.

You're a sore loser.

1. I'm very hung over, and awoke to watch the worst end in the history of any race I've watched, this decade.

2. I'm not really THAT serious bruh

3. I'm not going to sit here and let these silly VAG fans (Nothing worse than a Porsche Fan IMHO), let this go to their head.

4. No one can argue that Porsche didn't WIN this race, Toyota just LOST it.
