No Vazquez and another Binder popping up.
Going by that I would say Brad Binder might be the one to Watch next year, he did well this year with the Mahindra and now in the Redbull KTM he should be able to win.

Don't know if this has been posted yet but Remy Gardner will be joining the Moto3 grid next year on a CIP Mahindra in place of nominated rider Jakub Korneil who moves to the new AirAsia team.

Saw that on Autosport - it cracked me up because the title read "CoW contests Donington GP contract".

Reviving the 2014 thread - dont think we need a separate one...

Final testing now on in Qatar and it looks like Ducati may be the team to beat this year thanks to their Open/ Factory benefits which Factory teams don't get. On the up side MM will have some competition, but it all feels a bit unfair in terms of Ducati having unlimited engine development and a softer tyre option.

Suzuki are looking competitive, which is excellent news too.

First race is in just under two weeks :)

A shame for Lowes, but I'm hardly surprised given the hype he received after claiming pole. I felt sorry for Tito as well, Corsi left him no room into Turn 1.

Bizarre end for Zarco... Luckily he didn't drive into the wall :scared:

Yeah just a tad!

I like Sam Lowes, I really do, but his ability to crash so regularly and needlessly is irritating.

For those who do not know it yet, EuroSport has the coverage this year. 👍

Saw Moto GP on Fox sports 2 live, my first ever Moto GP race that I have watched! The start was pretty exciting :). I have a few questions:
1. Who are the big teams? (like the Mercedes/Ferrari equivolent here)
2. Who are the back markers?
3. What are the most exciting races on the calendar?
4. What are the fastest circuits and how fast do these bikes get?
Edit: 223 mph, holy crap!

Watching it now, the last 3 laps is one of the best racing in MotoGP since the days of GP500 :) Ducati is too powerful on the straight, but Rossi managed to pull it off, stretching the lead in cornering and braking. Imagine if Marquez didn't go wide on the 1st turn, it would have been 4 way battle  from start to finish.

Stunning race. Just like watching Rossi back in the early 2000s - stalking the leader until exploding into life in the last couple of laps. Incredible

What a race! Like a flashback to 2007-2008. Ducati vs Yamaha. Ducati superior straight line speed. Yamaha brute strength in the corners.

1.) Repsol Honda (Pedrosa and Marquez) supposedly have the strongest bikes, but not evident today! Yamaha whilst never really dominating, are the other big name factory team (Lorenzo, Rossi). I wouldn't usually include Ducati, as they've struggled in recent years, but after today's performance they have to be included with the two other big teams!

2.) Again, it's difficult to judge who and which teams will be at the back already but teams like Aspar Honda (Hayden, Laverty) and Athina Yamaha (Bradl, Baz) look like teams that may struggle,

3.) Most tracks are very exciting. The one we've just raced on (Qatar) is one of my favourites. Other great and exciting circuits in my opinion include Jerez (Spain), Mugello (Italy), Assen (Netherlands), Sachsenring (Germany) and Silverstone (Great Britain).

4.) I'm not too sure which are the fastest. But most tracks have long sections of straights and a good mix of fast and slow corners, so don't worry about any slow races!

I disagree a bit, Marquez was the quickest overall, also had the highest topspeed.
The issues in the beginning weren't really thanks to the bike's performance.

What an absolutely astonishing race! I was thrilled to see Rossi take a well-deserved victory and kick-off his championship in style. However, the stars of the day for myself were Dovi and Iannone on the Ducati GP15's - a superb turn-around for the Italian team and a testament to Gigi Dall'Igna's design skills and management profile.

That race is going to go down as one of the all-time classics.
