I don't know why people rate Crutchlow. He had potential early on, but never made good on it.

Elsewhere, Johann Zarco has been tipped to join Suzuki. That would suggest to me that Viñales is going to Yamaha (which Rossi seems to approve of), because I can't see Suzuki dropped Espargaro.

I was watching the racing on the live, on my computer. Sad end too an excellent days racing:guilty:

The weather was great, last couple of times been bad weather and called off.

Dovi confirmed, and Ducati seem apologetic to Iannone, so seems to me they kicked him rather than him going to Yamaha.
Vinales to Yamaha and Zarco/rins and Iannone at Suzuki is my guess.

But the right decision for Ducati in my opinion.

As far i as i have read, Zarco has signed for Suzuki already, so I could see Iannone going to Suzuki to replace Vinales.

We haven't had such a musical chairs scenario in MotoGP for a while!

Indeed lol. However the more I think about it the more I think people are making the hype train speed up. There's a bigger possibility that vines stays. The bike is improving and I think that's enough to make him stay. It's no secret petrucci and rossi are good friends and after the last few seasons of petrucci's performance plus not getting the factory ducati seat it may be tempting for yam aha to buy him out if his pramac contract.

Also read van der mark is looking at racing in motogp. Although it seems unlikely. He's no better off leaving wsbk to ride a satellite/open bike and a factory seat seems out of the question.

So Iannone to Suzuki, Vinales to Yamaha confirmed. If Aleix isn't smart, he'll end up without a ride, although I guess Tech 3 still has an open seat.

I don't think there is a seat at Tech 3, Folger has one and Pol is having a very good season so far.

I can't really see who Suzuki might draft to replace him. Except maybe Zarco.

Rins is pretty confident he'll get a manufacturer ride, although that seems likely. I'd stay with Aleix. He hasn't done bad at all, and the last few years people have struggled when they've stepped up a class. Zarco is struggling at the moment (for his standard) and I can't see him doing any better then Aleix.

Folger seems a wasted seat to be honest. I like the guy, but he's not MotoGP material

Aleix hasn't done badly by most standards on a new bike, but his biggest problem is Vinales. We now know what the Suzuki is capable of and they could be willing to take the risk, especially since they've definitely got 1 of the 'next best' so to speak with Iannone.

It should now be interesting now that KTM and Aprilia have one factory seat remaining though its quite a shame that KTM didn't sign Dovi as he would've been a great rider to help in the development of their bike...anyhow congrats to all the factory riders.

BTW, if there is one rider I would like to see fill that reamining KTM seat its Nakagami...possibly one of the most underrated riders in Moto2. If anything KTM should really give him a test.

So according to Colin Edwards BT's coverage, The final Suzuki seat looks set to be for Rins, and LCR will run a Suzuki engine next year with Zarco.

KTM have said they wanted someone with experience. I agree about Nakagami. Only problem is how his transition to MotoGP works.

Ive got a feeling that Crutchlow will be kicked from LCR, and he'll get a KTM/Aprillia ride. I think he's a waste  but the teams will probably be looking at his potential to improve the bike.

EDIT - This season is so painful as an Antonelli fan :(

LCR switching to Suzuki? From what what I understand Cecchinello wants to reamin with Honda:

BTW, I'm so loving the RC16 and wait till August to really see it in action in Austria:

What a Moto3 race. Shades of Oliveira going on with ol Binder.
Just like Kent last year, but I'm sure Brad won't start throwing it away end of the season

All championship deciders should go to Mugello, the place never fails to produce amazing racing

EDIT - Just a thought. If Zarco does go do you think Ajo will replace him with Binder?

If he wins the title, that would probably be the logical step, although if Bo Bendsnayer doesn't start showing some potential, he may want to keep Binder for a second season to keep the M3 team competitive.....

I don't think winning the title will make that much difference to Ajo. Brad is a smart enough guy to not let it slip, and as we saw with oliviera and how well he's adapted to the moto2 bike. Ajo is a fan of brad and I think he'll give him a ride no matter what. But yeah I definitely get what you mean, so far there's no rider the m3 team can mount a competitive attack with next year. Plenty of riders that have a temporary contract and hey could sign though, such as Guevara or do gianantonio. Who knows perhaps a ktm ride would interest bagnaia
