Apparently an "altercation with a member of staff". Pretty drastic move considering his boss is Rossi. What on earth did he do?

Not sure, but given he's been given the sack, it must be Clarkson-esque.Does anyone know what fenati did yesterday? There's only rumours but I haven't heard them and by the sound of it, it was pretty bad.
Yeah that was my initial thought too. I heard something about him going back to Ajo but I can't see him getting a seat at the front of the grid this season. Not sure, but given he's been given the sack, it must be Clarkson-esque.
Can't see Ajo taking him, even if he didn't have Binder now and Bo for next year. Fenati's rep is pretty shot to pieces and Aki seems pretty traditional in his approach to a team.Yeah that was my initial thought too. Nikita Mazepin did something like that in a Formula 3 race and the FIA stepped in and banned him on the spot, though it was in the middle of the paddock and in full view of everyone. If Fenati took a swing at someone, I am surprised that FIM didn't intervene. Not sure, but given he's been given the sack, it must be Clarkson-esque.

Yeah - I thought the unbridled glee in their voices when they saw Binder in the traps was pretty classless. 👎Come on guys, can you at least give Brad Binder a moment to pick himself up and dust himself off before you start singing the praises of John McPhee? I swear, they started a sentence talking about how McPhee had no answer to Binder and finished it talking about how McPhee had mastered the conditions and perfectly executed his strategy.
I think that was more excitement that the race had been flipped on its head, which was understandable, but it was a bit tasteless. I know I sound like a broken record on this subject, but I have to wonder how they would have reacted if Martín or Pawi had been in second at the time.Yeah - I thought the unbridled glee in their voices when they saw Binder in the traps was pretty classless. 👎
I find that they're generally pretty good, but they throw objectivity out the window as soon as a British rider shows some success. And it's well documented that I think the British commentators are the worst at this. Sure, our commentators talk up Jack Miller or Anthony West or Remy Gardener, but they never make them out to be significantly better than they actually are.Although I find their biased attitudes week in/out pretty poor.
Are you talking about the world feed or bt sport? Please don't get me started on Keith and Julian again, Jules even said yesterday that McPhee was the first British winner in the small class since Bradley Smith. How the hell did they forget Danny Kent after last year?I find that they're generally pretty good, but they throw objectivity out the window as soon as a British rider shows some success. Not a bad decision considering if he stayed put he would still be on a 2 year old bike with Bautista coming into the team on a newer bike. The aprillia in superbikes is a decent bike so he should be fighting for second place with Chaz, Sykes, Hayden and Bradl maybe.Eugene Laverty has confirmed that he will be going back to WSBK in 2017.
I think it was fine to be honest. He was obviously going to be quicker, and he moved out of the way as they got near. He probably should have backed off more to get clear track to do private testing, but he's experienced enough to not fall over them. Could have done things different but he had every right with newer quicker tyres and the commentators, as per usual, gave him a hard time.View attachment 580168
Was it right or wrong of Lorenzo to mix it with the three riders fighting
for the last podium spot?
Six laps to go, he was in 17th position and one lap down on the others after his
failed double pit stop strategy and yet he chose to interfere with
an ongoing battle for the podium.
He was on fresher tyres but does that justify it?
One of the commentators said that it wasn't pretty and that
'it's beneath a five-time champion, he should know better'.
I remember Senna was very angry when Irvine pulled a similar stunt in the early
nineties and I would imagine Lorenzo would be very aggravated if it had happened to him.
