I will only be on mobile for the rest of the day and will not be able to update this thread, or at least very quickly. So feel free to post news stuff as you see fit.

Interesting that they're calling it Sport, instead of ST. Surely they won't use such an unimaginative and quite frankly vague name for the EU version.

Assuming that this isn't Ford raising the middle finger towards the Mondeo, again.

Apparently they thought ST would conjure up an image a little too hardcore for the intended audience. Considering the history of hot Mondeos over there though, I'd think there's a chance they could give it the badge.

Man, that Buick Avista should have been trotted out in black with black chrome, just to get the GN fans breathing heavy. I mean, that's the plan, right? Call it a GN, sell a bazillion of them, have it turn out to be the best Alpha char, yadda yadda yadda. This, with the Avenir, would do very well to revitalize the brand.

From what I read from a Hot Rod Magazine article on their website, the Avista is more of a Rivera than GN. That article could be found here. Still, it should be sold. It could do well just from appearance alone.

Meh. It puts off a "trying too hard" vibe for me. And that front emblem is the size of a dinner plate. :P

Edit: Nevermind on the Nissan thing. Autoblog is just interviewing Ghosn.
