Motegi Race Report
Q: 6th
R: 2nd
Q: Went bad, whenever you're 0.3 behind your PB you know you had a crapy Q session.
R: Had an blitz start, caught Delta sleeping at the line got on his inside and made the pass. Logic then made a small mistake in turn 2 so I got up to 3rd in first lap which was more than I expected. My pace with ballast was not that good so the gap to DannyJZ in the lead and Daniel25 was getting bigger. But then them two had a moment and went of track and I just managed to get infront of Dan25 and in the lead. I couldn't believe I was in the lead tbh with all the ballast in my car.
At this point I knew most of my race will be defending against faster cars. And so it started. First came Dan25 with the super fast GTR, I managed to keep him behind for about 5 laps than I broke a tad to late and he got by in turn 1. At this point people started pitting, I saw my tyres were still ok so I decided to go with 1 stop. At about 40 min Mirial cought up to me and passed me in just a few laps which was the fastest anyone managed to pass me I think.
Pitted at 45 min with no drama. Then I had to decide save tyres for defending or go flat out and hope nobody catches up. I decided to save tyres and wait for my main championship rival Logic to get to my rear bumper. So it started again, amazing battle, one of the best I had in a while. I knew I had to keep him behind as long as I can and I managed well. Logic only went by after I made my only mistake of the race in sector 2.
It was looking like a 4th spot for me which I would be pretty happy about. Few laps to go it was looking like @mirial was going to win but then to my suprise the top 3 cars started pitting for fuel. Dan25 got the lead after the non planned stops while Miri and Logic droped quite a few spots. Unbelivably I found my self in 2nd few laps to go. I then noticed my mate Colossos coming from nowhere to my rear bumber. Last two corners of race were hectic, Colo kind of forced his way on the inside I gave him space but I commited to the outside so I have a good run to last corner on the inside, I gave him a small nudge so he couldn't get me in the last corner so I barely managed to bring home 2nd place.
Proper race guys! Lets keep it up

), so I was preparing for a battle Royale on worn tyres. It was fun driving defensively while it lasted but I was more disappointed to have missed finishing the battle off rather than the win when I had to pit...
